Agua Fresca Cucumber-Lime hit.
The only thing I didn’t love entirely was the elote but I’m pretty picky w that. It has everything I want in an elote (which is very hard to find in Texas) minus the type of corn I like.

Love that you can create your own stuff when it comes to things they sell for example they have a raspanieve with is shavedice with ice cream. I asked what flavors they informed me whichever icecream fruit or shaved ice flavor they have. I asked can i have a limin con pepino raspanieve so is lime ice cream lime snowcone with cucumber and of course chamoy! And they made it for me!!!! We were looking forward to trying El Buen Amaya, but unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. Despite arriving an hour after their posted opening time, the lobby was still closed and the open sign was off. After waiting outside for about ten minutes, the sign finally turned on and the door was unlocked. It was unclear whether the delay was due to understaffing or no one being present at the time.
Thankfully, we discovered a great alternative just down the road—La Paletera—where the lobby was open, the food was delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. If you find that El Buen Amaya isn’t open when you visit, La Paletera is a solid backup option worth considering.
