The food, the service and everything here I can only give five stars. The service was extremely friendly and made exactly like I wanted. The restaurant is also very clean and very well kept. I ordered an apple cinnamon bagel extra toasted with cream cheese and it turned out absolutely perfect. The coffee available is also piping hot. Highly recommend. Staff is also extremely friendly.

Update: Just had another great experience here with Tim helping me in the drive thru. He has been here the last few times and he always greets me like I am truly valued & welcome. I just love this shop!

From Fall 2025: Every time I visit Einstein on Fort Union, it is a pleasant experience! Today, Adam was working the drive thru, & even though I got just one bagel, he was so nice and treated me as though it was the biggest sale of the day. Thank you for consistently having awesome employees like Adam! :0)

The food was good my bagel came with too much cream cheese. The other one, however, came with not enough cream cheese. Free cookies were good. The atmosphere smells like cigarettes, just like my grandpa’s house, which is good. five stars. Free bagel so nice. Proof you know we ate is yum yum

Why, oh why, can I not customize signature sandwiches? I am just a girl that does not want two eggs on her sandwich. When I requested a Farmhouse with only one egg through the drive thru on my way to work, the worker told me it comes standard with 2. I know this. It’s clearly stated on the menu. Which is why I specifically asked for one only, at which point he said “can’t do that” and proceeded to recommend entirely different sandwiches to me.
I don’t want to pay less money. I just want one less egg. Can’t you just not put two eggs on the sandwich? Why is this so difficult?
So of course since I didn’t want a completely different sandwich I ordered my food and then while I was waiting for my coffee (unsure why it took an additional 5 minutes after my sandwich to get it but I digress) I unwrapped my sandwich and got my hands messy to remove the second egg that they absolutely had to put on my sandwich. Are you holding your employees hostage? If they give in to reasonable guest requests are they fired?
At least they put napkins in the bag so I could wipe my fingers afterwards, but it was not so fun to remove that egg since it was smushed into melted cheese and I lost a few pieces of bacon as well.
Anyway, I generally like Einsteins as a chain, but the egg incident really just pushed me over the edge because I simply don’t get it. One burger four slices of cheese vibes you know? Please look it up and you’ll understand how I was feeling in that moment. If you want to customize your sandwiches go somewhere else to save yourself the sadness and regret of being bamboozled so early in the morning and avoid messy cheese and egg fingers.

Updated to Add: the feedback link is atrocious. All of this time into writing out concerns that are vaguely addressed here and also by whatever corporate entity head owns this place. It’s the principle. Why can’t we customize? Why does nobody in charge of this location seem to care that they have terrible employees? Now I get why the coffee kiosk in the Dans parking lot gets so much business.

Drive through person was extremely rude and got sassy with me when I asked for one egg on a speciality bagel that came with two eggs. i didn’t realize 2 eggs was the standard and he rudely told me if I wanted to choose the amount of eggs I had to order a different sandwich. Then when I paid and said I didn’t want to leave a tip (because he was rude) he still added a $1 tip to my bill anyway. The bagel was great, the coffee had no ice in it and was mostly milk. I don’t recommend this location.

Staff are always super friendly. Food is high-quality, service is fast, and never burns a hole in the wallet. Come here often when I just need a little something tasty

Been here 3 different times and have yet to get the correct order. 1st time was walk in and ordered they messed it up in front of me and I corrected what I ordered. 2nd time was online and they didnt get any of the order right including the bagel type. And the 3rd time was today again a mobile order and they forgot 2 of the 3 items I ordered. I do not recommend this eintstein as they are careless and lazy.

I have come here several times and have tried to give it a chance, but every time my experience is exceptionally poor. I asked for my bagel to be regular shmear instead of veggie and no red onions, I got veggie and red onions. I asked for a cookie, I never got it. Also almost every time I have a bagel here there is cinnamon dusting or onion flavor on the one I’m eating. It’s gross, and this quality of service hasn’t changed. Wouldn’t recommend coming here.

I have to update my review because it’s gotten worse… way worse since I last visited this location. So, I guess from the info I got to my post that they don’t cater to dine in anymore. Okay, it might be helpful to share that at the location somehow instead of just relying on people catching on from the large, open, unwelcoming space. Nevertheless, explain to me why none of the employees smiled once, at anyone, the whole time we were there. No welcome at all. Why they don’t take orders at the bagel counter, where the menu is, making it awkward to try looking back at the bagels and menu while you stand at the register, and why when my husband, when asking about a drink that was advertised at the register, was told, “No, you can’t have that.” I’m not exaggerating, he tried to ask if it just wasn’t available, and was told, “No, we have it, you just can’t have it.” I’m serious, he actually said that. I think he just didn’t want to ring us out again because he went on break right after. We sat at one of the 2 tables there were, eating our food as we observed, food was fine, nothing special. Much slower customer traffic than there used to be on a Sunday morning, including drive thru, and looking at the recent reviews and our own experience, I think it’s clear why. This location has serious service problems.
Old review:
This particular location hasn’t put any seating back since covid…so it’s a little strange and has no place to dine in. Other than that, it is awesome.

Poor service, poor communication, out of the bagels we wanted at 8am and undesirable substitutes were made. Also frustrating that in the drive through the tip screen is not optional, and you are pressured to select a tip amount.
