So, I was in town for a job site in Huntsville. I’m a Safety Director for a commercial roofing company. Decided to roll down to Anniston, so my drive wouldn’t be too long to get back to GA..PSA!!!! This place is simply AMAZING! Rose was the best, along with the other staff! The food was sooo good! I had the Voodoo Pasta, and the BBQ Shrimp! Words cannot express how good these dishes were! The atmosphere was amazing, the conversations and new friends I met, The Helds (I hope I spelled their names right) were the icing on the cake! Someone mysteriously took care of my birthday meal as well! As a retired firefighter/medic (12yrs) I’m usually the one providing a service. Last night, I was the recipient of service and I am truly grateful and will definitely go back to Effina’s every single opportunity I get!

Oh my goodness-I had an amazing brunch at Effina’s this past Sunday! I had the breakfast pizza-sausage, eggs, bacon on a delicious crust-topped with milk gravy & cheese! It was a ten inch round 6 slice piece of paradise. My guests opted for the fried chicken & waffles, they said it was fantastic.

So so so good! They start you off with delicious bread and a garlic/oil mixture to dip the bread in. The bread tastes homemade. Every dish we ordered was (and always is) delicious. We will definitely be back. We ordered: voodoo pasta, lasagna and spaghetti. Server was super nice and attentive. Also, small detail, but the sweet tea was perfect! We loved everything.

New favorite restaurant in Anniston. This place cooks some really delicious food. Came first time Thursday on way to Ga and stopped again Saturday night on way back home because food was sooo good!!!

Visiting from out of town and stopped here for lunch. Great service from Michelle and great food. The bruschetta had the tastiest fresh basil and balsamic. The club sandwich and chicken parmigiana were also great!

Wow. Effinas has gone downhill massively. Waited almost an hour and a half and NO food. Waitress did not fill up drinks, would not make eye contact to come to our table, and no explanation. Togo food was leaving the counter left and right. But not customers in the restaurant. This was the last time we will ever come here. Pathetic that waitress could not even acknowledge the situation with patrons. Poor customer service for a barely packed restaurant

My company drops an easy 200$ a week here at lunch. Brought my family for dinner waited an hour and a half and watched them give to go orders priority over customers. Asked my waitress how much longer and she said yours is next only to have another Togo made and then a table that came in 15 minutes after us. Waitress was not concerned and didn’t even make sure our drinks were filled during the 1 1/2 hour wait. Will certainly be taking Effina’s off the lunch rotation. They weren’t even busy tonight. Never received food, just left.
