Conveniently located and nice establishment.

The food is decent. Ordered a Sausage Breakfast Burrito and Potato Taco at 730- ish in the morning. The burrito was massive but barely had any sausage in it. The potato taco was a decently sized portion but barely had potatoes. Both items had “filler” items much more than they had the respective protein.

I didn’t leave a tip, as I never do for drive-thru services. I was never asked if I wanted any hot sauce. I drove away thinking it was already in the bag, but I was unfortunately mistaken.

I gotta tell ya. I’m 25+ years in the restaurant business and I love when I walk in and see employee engagement into their roles…you can expect a good experience when you do.

Food – amazing value for the price. Very filling. People may complain about the protein ratio but it’s plenty.

Cleanliness was point

Service. – here are the things that make a difference. Service itself was standard at the cash register and food delivery. Before we left, my son needed use the restroom. There was a pin pad. So he came back to tell me. On the way back an employee called out and gave is the pin number…we didn’t have to go ask for it.. small detail make a big difference.

Good luck to you guys wish you the best of success!!!!

Best green Chile pork burrito on the planet. Their shredded beef tacos are to die for (if you can eat more than two, you’re REALLY hungry). I always judge a Mexican restaurant by their refried beans, and theirs is top notch.

I called and placed a large pick up order tonight and the person who took my order (I believe his name was Mikey) was on point. He repeated my order back to me (in the order I gave it to him, so that was awesome!) and he let me know that it would be about 15-20 minutes which was surprisingly quick for a $60 order. I thought it would have taken about 39 minutes to be honest). I arrived about 20 minutes after I ordered, and not only was it actually ready when I got there, but it was already packed up for me AND in a box, not just a bunch of bags which made it easier to transport home. Everything was still hot when I got home, and everything was super delicious. We ordered the carnitas taco salad, asada plate, chorizo and egg only burrito, the burger tacos (no pickles, no thousand island) and a quesadilla that we all split as an appetizer. The only thing that was missing was the green sauce in the quesadilla, but I didn’t mind at all.

The food is good. They make the best hard shredded beef tacos, they are delicious. Shell, beef, cheese, lettuce & tomatoes are all fresh and generously put together. You better eat it over a plate or you’ll be leaving deliciousness on the floor. Everything is that good there. They ding you 3% for credit cards.

The 1 star is for the pricing of the Pepe’s breakfast burrito. Plus $4.50 just to add chorizo and no potatoes. Total came out to $17.50. Ridiculous. And forgot the beans. After requesting a cup of beans and making my own burrito, it came out good. Red salsa has a good kick to it. I am really hoping the price is a mistake. If not, for the price I do not recommend the breakfast burrito.

We came out to Pepe’s this evening and was very disappointed that the quality of the hard tacos that made them famous are no longer made with lots of lettuce and smothered in cheese. I went back to the cashier representative Natalie to show her the tacos that had very little cheese barely a sprinkle and requested that they add some more ? She stated that there was an extra charge . I showed her again the lack of cheese as this was the first time I had experienced this at a Pepe’s ? She reasssured me that this is how they make them and that she couldn’t give me more cheese without an added cost . I realized t this moment that that standards have changed . The met was dry I ate it any way . I’m usually writing positive review but tonight’s experience at Pepe’s in brea Tod me no to return here again.

This place is good, but the refried beans are incredible. I have other restaurants I prefer for other dishes, but no one has ever made beans the way Pepe’s makes beans. Their enchilada sauce is also great. Additionally, the bathrooms are locked with a code you get on your receipt, so they are really clean.

You order at the counter and they give you a number. They have plenty of outdoor seating, and they bring your meal to you once it’s ready. They also bring red and green salsa with your meal. My husband grew up in Brea, and every time we visit we make time to come eat at Pepe’s.

I do not recommend this place at all plus the lady’s who work at this restaurant are so rude. Me and my family went to Pepe’s after my daughters game and we ordered 4 California burritos to go and when we came back home the burritos hardly had any carne asada we called and they tried to say that each burrito had 6 spoon full of meat as you can see in the pictures they did not have 6 spoonfuls of meat it was mostly fries. Also I had to pay extra for some pico and guacamole, which yes I understand for the guacamole but not for the pico. Also we had to wait an additional 5-7 minutes in line because I asked for it after I received my order so I had to pay and wait for it to be handed to me. The lady just couldn’t hand it to me after I bought it when it’s already made that was ridiculous. Then she hands me the bag and looks at me in my face and says,” Do you need anything else,” like I’m bothering her! I spent almost $100 for our order definitely not worth this much for what we got plus the bad customer service.

Their breakfast burritos are the best in the world. They’re very large and really delicious. Also their bean and cheese burritos and California burritos are very good. They’ll customize your order if requested. I’ve often added fries inside a veggie burrito which takes it to a new level. I highly recommend this restaurant.
