First time here, happened to be in Princeton and had to stop in considering I’m Lebanese and Armenian. Food was actually pretty good and so was the service. Babaganoush was delicious. Some things do lack in flavor and the Taziki sauce was extremely watered down. My Turkish coffee was oddly very thick half way through, no longer drinkable. Other than that was pleased with the experience, would go again.

I have been a fan of EFES from their original location in New Brunswick. Been eating here now in Princeton for years. Delicious flavorful hearty meals. The Baba Ganoush, Humus, Cacik are all awesome. Their falafels, kebabs and yogurt base entrees are fantastic and keeps me coming back.

Ordered gyro and efes wrap via online. Came to pickup and they didn’t make the order. So we waited and decided to dine in as the order was not ready. The wrap was cold. Informed the chef about it. Chef mentioned it was because of Hummus , but he didn’t bother to warm up the warp. The warp literally didn’t had anything except for letttuce and hummus.

Starving tried to get a late lunch at EFES with my family; sadly, we were skipped over multiple times (3x) trying to be seated. Apparently, you have to make sure everyone who works there aware; otherwise, they’ll just skip you over. Poor guest management, accommodation, and customer service. I did make 1 waiter and 2 witnesses aware and waited 25+ minutes, giving them the benefit of the doubt before we had to leave. The restaurant appeared to be doing well; however, it left an awful impression. Poor customer service will catch up sooner or later. We expected better for a restaurant with a higher price point.

I was a bit hesitant to order takeout from here as I saw the other reviews but my husband had highly recommended it. Our experience was great, the order was perfect, food was delicious and I thought the portions were good too.

Definitely going back here again. Wonderful Turkish gem in the area. The weather was beautiful and we just sat in their outdoor seating area.

Excellent lunch spot! Great service. Filling platters. Came on a Saturday afternoon and we were lucky to grab a table. We appreciate that they also have high chairs for families.

Great Mideastern/Turkish food. Had the combo platter – gyro, chicken, rice, salad. The chicken kabob is fantastic, juicy, just the right spice mixture. The stuffed grape leaves have cinnamon, unusual but still tasted good. About $40 per person for a lot of food and drinks. Has.a sidewalk patio.
