This is the best kept secret in SLO! The deli is amazing!!!! They have unbelievably delicious and HUGE sandwiches, the best fried zucchini, amazing breakfast sandwiches and burritos…and that’s all I’ve tried so far, but I look forward tot trying more items. The prices are great for how much food you receive. And the staff is very friendly! There is some seating inside as well as a back patio. The market is also well stocked. You wouldn’t know this place exists unless you know…it’s inside of the store at the gas station, and it has become one of my favorite delis in SLO (against tough competition!). I love it.

This place ain’t your ordinary gas station. It’s family-owned and operated, and they have one of the best delis around. Customer service is top-notch and they always treat you like family. If you want a good hearty breakfast burrito in the morning ( grill opens at 6 am ) this is the place to go, not to mention all the other great food they have.
Still the best place in town to come for breakfast and or lunch. Just on a side note, the gas station and car wash are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Hands down will forever be my favorite breakfast and lunch spot in SLO and man do I miss it, and to the incredible man behind this spectacular and hidden food spot, thank you for treating me like a daughter during my time working and living in SLO and for bringing so much happiness into every day and putting so much love into the food that you create. Felt nothing short of being right at home. From the grande burritos, to the sandwiches to the mornings when I couldn’t decide what to eat after working long flights you always made sure to whip something special up even if it was off menu. I will always cherish all of your welcoming smiles and bright energy. The world needs more humans like yourselves. Can’t wait to bring my now husband back with our newborn son!

Imagine my surprise when I bit into this bad boy! Nine dollars for head of lettuce with a garnishment of meat! I couldn’t help but laugh when I pictured a person making this just frantically shoving more and more lettuce in. Did they do this to give the appearance of being large! If you took out half the lettuce, it reduces the size drastically. Nine dollars for a head of lettuce with a sprinkle of meat! Ha ha!

I have always loved this place. Great food, good price, great staff. Recently, my orders have been disappointing. I eat here frequently and always order the same thing, but several times now I have driven my sandwich back to work, and discovered it was missing items like bacon (which costs extra) and not even the correct meat or bread. Time to find a new place for lunch. If you decide to eat here and take it to go, check your food before you leave!

Odd paradox of a gas station. The gas and packaged food is all at the top end of the cities prices. On the other hand the food they make there, package there, and drinks are all priced great for their quality. The breakfast burritos are huge and delicious (little heavy on the tomatoes in the salsa), the packaged wraps/sandwiches/fried foods they make and their made to order deli are tasty and pretty cheap. There is a nice outdoor area out back with shade and tables. Again, their prices and quality beat fast food in the area by at least 2 or 3 dollars. It’s a convenient, well staffed place that gets you in and out.
