Had a fantastic lunch on our 31st Anniversary. Sat on the patio by the Yahara River. Great Rueben sandwich and Gyro! We had fried cheese curds for an appetizer that had a delicious dip! Will be going there again! Highly recommend!

Great food and great service! Ordered the baked cod sandwich and it was incredible! The food is prepared by a professional chef and it shows. Everything is fresh and cooked perfectly! The servers and bartenders are friendly and attentive. Great-looking staff too! 🙂

I needed a quick lunch but wanted to sit outside. This appeared one of few choices in Stoughton. It’s not much to look at from the outside, but the staff is caring, polite, and on the spot. If you are sitting outside, order before you sit down and they’ll get you a number or order at the window outside.
I ordered the Reuben as people suggested. You won’t go wrong. The fries were equally as good. A nice crispy hot treat.
The view from outside was magnificent as well. A peaceful lunch all around.

When we walked in, we were not greeted until we made it halfway across the restaurant floor. We were given menus and told to seat ourselves as well as walk up to the window to order when we were ready. We ordered an appetizer and two burgers. I specifically asked that the appetizer come first so we could try to slow down and enjoy our time by the water. The food came all at once and left a lot to be desired. Wilted lettuce on the burger, was not medium as requested, burnt bacon. Everything was overpriced. The staff was fine. I felt bad for them because they clearly lack training. They didn’t even know what kind of soda they carried or had. They were all nice, but at the ordering window seemed visibly stressed out. Not sure why the owner wouldn’t be at their own establishment on a Saturday night. The nicest part of our experience here was the patio and the river view.

Nice little Bar/Restaurant on the river. Sat outside on the patio next to the river. All the staff was friendly and prompt. I had a Bacon Chicken Ranch wrap and fries. The food was more than I could eat and was very good. My husband had the Friday night fish fry. He was very happy with his food. I would recommend this place and will return ourselves.

Oh my gosh! We were so impressed with this place. We walked in during the pandemic and all of the employees were wearing masks. Yay! My friend forgot his so they gave him one immediately.
The manager greeted us and explained the special soups and appetizer. We ordered all of those so we could sample. We also ordered the fish and chips. The soups were home made and so awesome.
We ate outside on the patio. All of the tables were full but it was still peaceful being on the river. The staff were very attentive. The manager, Joe was fantastic and friendly. I would highly recommend this place!

Wonderful place for drinks and group lunch or dinner. Also good for a riverside dinner date night. The patio outback is really an unknown perk of this place in warmer months. The food is truly an elevated version of tavern basics using local, seasonal ingredients with a focus on quality, organics selections and even vegetarian considerations throughout the menu. Our group had a blast on this debut visit out back. Joe and Tina are fantastic people doing great things with the drinks and the foods. How a math professor and data scientist are also whipping up such unique items like this I do not know but they got it down pat as far as I can tell. Bravo gang!

This is a fun little place! We showed up for drinks and ended up having an appetizer too! The patio was a good atmosphere, but the kitchen wasn’t updated to handle all he food requests for the patio, so things were a little slow. We weren’t in any hurry, but that definitely deterred us from ordering more. We will definitely be back though, friendly staff and those jalapeño cheese curds were great!
