When you have a nice day at the beach this is the place you want to go right after. I really enjoyed the ribeye and wagyu tacos along with a chile relleno burrito and loaded potato. The salsas tied everything together and agua fresca hit the spot. 10/10 recommend. Please bring one of these to the Bay Area!

Stopped here while on vacation this week and the food was incredible. I had chicken tacos and my husband had other various types of meat and we loved it all. It was great being able to walk up to the sauce bar and add cilantro or whatever salsa you wanted. It allowed me to try a few things before I landed on what I wanted on everything. The only criticism I would have was I didn’t like that the hot rice and beans were served on a styrofoam plate. Other than that, everything was fantastic!

We had a fairly large lunch order and everything was on point! The staff were super friendly, our online order made for fast in and out. The parking garage across the street is free parking first 90 minutes. Go enjoy Taco Tuesday!

Seriously tacos los cholos has to be 1 of the best or thee best tacos around. It can get a little pricey depending on which grade of meat you select. But the pork belly is a must have! I don’t think I have ever went here without ordering pork belly! But everything is delicious here.

The first thing I will say is this place is definitely worth the hype. Unfortunately, i got a doc a star for messing up the order. After paying almost nineteen dollars for 1 taco and eleven for another, I was bummed to find they did not include the Guacamole i paid extra for. Additionally the potato was not dressed, missing the Guacamole and sour cream.Bummer. other than that, the food really is delicious.They have a great salsa bar with a bunch of salsas to choose from. The watermelon agua fresca is a must.

Tacos Los Cholos needs no introduction. If you are in the Huntington beach area this place is a no brainer for lunch or dinner. My favourite part of the restaurant experience here is you can see the cooks grilling the meat and they have a wide variety of meat selection for everyone’s taste and preference. The sauce bar is a great addition, personally I loved their spicy habanero sauce.
If you enjoy Mexican food, everything on the menu is delicious. It may be hard finding a table if you want to dine in but it is worth the wait.

To say I was severely disappointed would be an understatement. I grew up on Tacos Los Cholos in Anaheim so I was already biased in favor of the brand. However, this Huntington Beach location was really not good. We got pork belly, costilla, arachera, and adobada tacos. Everything from the tortillas to the sponge like texture meat was subpar. The only thing decent would be the atmosphere and decor but the staff weren’t great either. I’ll be going to Primecut Taqueria a block away instead or the original Anaheim location.

Okay… this place is INSANE in the best way. From the moment we pulled up, we could already tell this was THE spot — packed with people but the line moved fast thanks to a super organized team and top-tier service.
We ordered the Mexican Pizza (the real deal, NOT your Taco Bell version ♀️) and the Papa Loka Potato with carne asada. You can choose your steak — yes, even filet mignon or prime! They pile it HIGH with perfectly seasoned steak, mozzarella cheese, and flavor for days. It’s a protein-packed powerhouse that hit every craving.
The pizza? OH MY GOODNESS. Loaded with tender meat, fresh onions and cilantro, a swirl of crema and chipotle sauce, plus guac in the middle — I’m still dreaming about it. Cheesy, meaty, crispy… straight-up PERFECTION. Couldn’t even finish it in one sitting!
Their salsa bar is unmatched — radishes, cucumbers, limes, and every type of salsa from spicy to mild ️ Each one bold, fresh, and so flavorful I had to sample them all. Seriously puts every other Mexican spot in Huntington Beach to shame — I hate to say it, but it’s the truth ♀️
Shoutout to Sophia — the sweetest server who helped us since it was our first time. She explained the menu, made suggestions, and was so patient and kind

We tried this place based on a suggestion from a friend saying it was the best tacos in Cali. The fried is from Tennessee so I’m not sure he’s qualified to rank the best Tacos anywhere much less in California. That said, the food was very good. Everyone in our party of four said they loved their meal so that’s why I gave them five stars. If we were able to add a decimal I would have scored it a 4.5. I will say that I highly recommend Tacos Los Cholos.
