We ate breakfast there today and the food was very good. Reasonably priced. Our waitress was friendly and service was good. The atmosphere lacks on almost every front. It needs a face lift and more choices for beverages. But if you want a quick bite and you are not in a hurry, this is a fair bet .

Edgewood Grill is a quaint eatery in Bessemer City, and is most certainly worth visiting if you are in the area! At breakfast, they serve omelette’s, and I ordered a Western Omelette. The portions were enormous! I could not finish all of it, and the omelette only cost $7! It is an absolute steal! The atmosphere is set in an old diner, similar to Waffle House, and there are a few parking spots.

We had come here in April of 2020 from what maps had shown. Since I didn’t remember it, I decided, “Why not try the supposed ‘best breakfast in Gaston County’?”
Well… first, the customer service from our waitress could have been so much better. I liked that many people were here and had high hopes, but that went nowhere. I honestly don’t like complaining, but it was interesting that we weren’t even asked if we wanted any refills on our coffee, meanwhile everyone else around definitely had some refills. Our waitress hardly checked on us. We observed another young lady who was as sweet as can be (Samantha), and I actually asked her about the tea since I just wanted that because, truthfully, the coffee was basically mud water, and not in a good way.
I also found myself having to ask our waitress how much longer for our food to come out because it seemed to take way too long for the food we ordered.
I ended up leaving more than half my eggs and the city ham, but I definitely liked the pancakes; they were pretty good, and the norm of a grilled cheese sandwich was eatable.
I will add I wasn’t expecting a high-class breakfast, but what could’ve made things so much better would’ve been the attentiveness and customer service from our waitress.
We won’t be returning, to say the least; it’s added into a list I have of “NEVER go.”

The food and the waitresses are awesome their food is OMG lol! Definitely recommend 10/10! The waitress we had just adored my babies and talked to them, the owner conversated with us and my kids. He was super sweet! I will most definitely be going every chance I get! Lovely people!

This is by far the best burger in Gaston county I would put it up against just about anyone around I haven’t tried groovy beast I’ve heard theirs is good. But I tell you now I ordered from here once or twice a week and all the food is good breakfast is great people are awesome. But it is fresh patties ain’t no Frozen bull crap like you get other places this is why it is the best burger in Gaston county by far also get the onion rings.
