Edgewater is diamond in the rough! There are not many quality sit down restaurants in the area. The Louisiana style food is authentic & delicious. We had friendly & relaxed interactions with the owner. We got beignets to go, which we ended up eating in the car because they are incredibly delicious & moist. We’ll be back! 5 stars for atmosphere, food & service!

I had a less than desirable experience here with my father, uncle and Aunt. The restaurant was packed with 10 couples separated at 2 different tables and wanted separate checks (a logistical nightmare… don’t be these people). It was hell on the staff. Unfortunately we had a longer wait than we hoped for to get our food. Once Kenny and his wife Nadia realized this, they were more than apologetic and accommodating. We got to taste half the menu as they tried to make it right. Everything brought to our table was DELICIOUS! They were so graceful and apologetic.

I went there with my family. The decor and the tables had a classic look to it. In the restaurant area, there is a sofa where anyone can sit down. The sofa is facing the wall. Two small fake trees with lights were by the sofa. The staff and the owner were friendly and so nice. I ordered a burger and fries. The grizzly burger. It was good. They serve a small basket of fries. The food tasted great! The atmosphere had a light happy tone to it. A great place to bring your family!

Waited over an hour for food.There were only 4 tables with patrons, and one table of 4 left due to the long wait. At 11:30 AM they were out of french fries. The waitress was slow and forgot drinks. Food was good. Automatic gratuitywas added. Poor overall experience.

Such a nice little tucked away place! The service was incredible, the southern food was cooked with love, and I left with a full stomach and a happy heart. Highly reccomend if you’re nearby!

I had a Cesar salad and the ribeye steak. The rest of the family had spicy wings, house burger, garlic butter noodles w/ chicken and a BLT. Everything was delicious. Service is top notch.

Following what others have already stated, everything we ordered was absolutely perfection! I’ve never been able to say that about any dining experience ever. I was SO thrilled that this was the first time I could eat a buffalo wing chicken flat properly. The bones just slid right out. By the way, the appetizers in the pix were half eaten. LOL We couldn’t wait to dig in and forgot the initial picture. The onion rings were not only crispy, but you could get a clean bite without stringing the onion through. The fried pickles were spears and not overly salty chips! The bacon on the burger was a quality that supersedes any fine dining restaurants order of bacon as a side as it was hearty, thick, crunchy and flavorful. The oil everything was fried in didn’t have a hint of fish flavor or old taste either.
