* the eggplant parmesan was so delicious.
* the cajun salmon pasta was a great choice as well.
We came as a group of 20 ladies, and the ambiance was truly lovely. Every dish we tried was delicious! The prices lean toward the higher side, but the whole snapper was well‑seasoned and absolutely worth it. My husband wasn’t too impressed with the Smokey Jollof Rice with Chicken, though. Our meals arrived fairly quickly—likely helped by the fact that we were the only group in the restaurant at the time.
The food we did get was very good! The ribeye was seasoned well, the jollof rice was flavorful, and the whole snapper had everyone raving. The Caesar salad with grilled shrimp was also excellent. The songbird flights (i think that’s the name)were good, just could’ve been colder and a bit stronger.
The downside was that several menu items were unavailable, and the kitchen closed before we reached the $1,500 minimum, which caused some confusion. They did let us pay what we had spent, which we appreciated.
Carrington, our server, deserves recognition. He was kind, attentive, and made sure the birthday still felt special. He even cut and packaged the cake for everyone to take home.
Overall: Beautiful vibe and very good food, but the preparation/organization needs improvement. I’d return , just earlier in the evening to avoid the kitchen closing mid-service. 8/10
Regardless, we decided to show up and hope for the best—and I’m so glad we did. When we arrived, the parking lot was pretty empty, which was perfect. They have a regular parking lot plus extra grassy parking. Outside, there’s a gorgeous floral arch that makes the perfect photo op. Inside, the hostess stand is to the left, and to the right there’s another stunning flower wall with the Eden sign—another Instagram-worthy moment.
Even with the reservation trouble, we were accommodated instantly with no issues at all. The restaurant was quiet at that hour, so definitely go early if you can!
Our server was the beautiful Merk (forgive me if I spelled it wrong!), and she was AMAZING. So sweet, so attentive, and honestly one of the best servers I’ve ever had. We never had to look for her—she checked on us constantly without being overbearing. My bestie is vegan, and Merk even offered to ask the chef if they could honor the lunch menu so she could eat with us. I’m gluten-free, and they had delicious options for me too. Just a heads-up: some of their popular items have to be pre-ordered because they sell out fast.
I ordered the fried red snapper, and the presentation was stunning—so flavorful and beautifully served. Their house hot sauce? FIRE. Only for my spice lovers—you’ve been warned! My vegan bestie had the fried eggplant and absolutely loved it. The chef really put his foot in it! My other gorgeous friend ordered the steak with asparagus and mashed potatoes—the homemade steak sauce was incredible. Merk saw how much I liked it and even brought me some for my fish. That’s how attentive she is! Honestly, give that woman a raise. And by the way… Merk makes a bomb bellini.
We highly recommend everything we tried. And trust me—my girls and I are picky. Not high maintenance, just very sure about what we like! Don’t pay attention to the negative reviews. Everyone has their own opinion, but this is coming from three of the pickiest women you’ll ever meet. We all grew up with different cultural palates: I’m Korean and Nigerian, one bestie is Hungarian and Black, and our other bestie is South African—so believe me, we know GOOD FOOD.
Oh—and the BEST part? They have a private room you can reserve in advance with a waterfall backdrop. Right now, it’s decorated for Christmas and it is STUNNING. Perfect for photos and special events.
Run, don’t walk—make a reservation!
And tell them Keong sent you.
Also… Merk, if you see this—hi girl, I love you!!
We ordered coconut shrimp along with our main dishes. The mains came out, but the appetizer never did. When we asked about it, that is when we were told they had run out. No one said anything when we ordered it, and from what I have heard, this is a common issue for them. It makes no sense for a restaurant to run out of items on the main menu without telling customers upfront.
The food we did get was just average. It felt like things I could get at a simple hole-in-the-wall spot, and honestly those places would have done it better. I really hope this was not my true introduction to Jollof rice because it left me unimpressed.
The service made everything worse. Toward the end of our meal, the server did not even ask if we wanted dessert. We waited forever just to get the check. We asked for the manager, who never showed up, and waited another 10 to 15 minutes for someone else to take our information just so we could get a refund for a deposit.
I am tired of influencers hyping places up for no real reason. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
