A nice & cozy Afro Caribbean spot that calls you in w/ their smoker grill out front. Customer Service was friendly & attentive. I tried the Curry Wrap (w/ pico de gallo / habanero & bbq sauce) Jerk Chicken Wings / Greens & Plantains. The Hibiscus tea is delicious (a hint of pineapple, strawberries and vanilla is in the mix) Very Satisfying! I’ll be back to try the Goat & Red Snapper next!

Oh my Goodness! I just ate the Caribbean jerk out the Jerk wrap!!!! It’s bigger than my hand. It was so delicious!
The service was amazing I was in and out quickly. But it wasn’t too busy either. As I was waiting though I was asked if I’d be waited on and pleasant greetings.
Atmosphere suited the cuisine.
I also had the plantains, cabbage and yellow rice separately. Plantains perfection like eating a sweet potato with a hint of sweet! And the sauces that are on the side the bbq and the orange I want to say habanero are my favorite just enough spicy.
Now back to the wrap you can taste the smokiness of the chicken on the first bite, Heaven!

The smells are amazing the moment you walk in the door! Friendly owners & staff greet you, answers questions about the menu & even offer samples to help you decide what to order. Small but clean dining room…take out was hopping. The portions are huge & the food is full of flavor. DELICIOUS!!! My husband had jerk chicken & I ordered curry chicken. I would highly recommend Eden & Kissi!!!

Had to write this review immediately… Because the jerk chicken was UNREAL! Even though it’s takeout only, took 10-15 mins to prepare the fully loaded jerk chicken taco with plantains side. Every bite was juicy and bouncing with flavor. It’s been a while since if had food this good that blows my mind. Super yummy, big portion, amazing jerk chicken. Best I’ve ever had in my life. Staff was super nice and apologized for the wait. Highly recommended!

Idk how, but it happened again. Found an amazing Afro-Caribbean place for lunch. Absolutely incredible food at a very low cost. Employees were very nice and so were all the customers we saw. Kid’s dancing to music. We ordered and sat outside. I forgot to order a drink and when he brought the food out, he brought Dr. Pepper. Did he read my mind or something? It’s my favorite. I got jerk chicken lunch special, and my friend got wings and greens. No wait to order, food ready in 5 minutes. You gotta try this place out.

I was in the area today and impulsively dropped in for one last hot meal before the blizzard rolled in. First time coming. Wow! The owner greets you like a long lost friend, makes suggestions, and offers water while you wait for your food to be cooked fresh. And the food? My snapper was fantastic–one of the best things I have eaten in a very long time. Plus the salsas and sauces it was packed with are equally fantastic and will continue to season some of my food during the next few days. Eden and Kissi is an absolute gem that I can’t wait to re-visit!

It’s always a good sign when you go somewhere new and order the daily special and they are sold out before 5pm. It was absolutely a sign of the delightful food in store for us at our visit to Eden & Kissi.
At first you try the curry chicken and you think to yourself, “self, that is some damn fine chicken!” It’s so tender it practically falls apart when you fork it and the spices in the sauce do wonderful things to your taste buds. But then you take your first bite of your jerk wings and you realize that you have, for the first time in your life, experienced chicken as it is meant to exist as a food in this world. And as you devour your (too few – no matter how many you ordered it’s going to be too few) remaining wings you start to feel a little sorry for the curry chicken, delectable as it is, that it has to coexist with these wings.
The sides we tried, black beans, rice and beans, yellow rice, cabbage, and plantains, were also all absolute treats (although the rice and beans were more flavorful – we think star anise? than my wife prefers). Our favorites were the cabbage and the plantains. And don’t forget to try the sauces – YUM!
Wherever you live in Louisville, it is worth the drive to come to Eden & Kissi to get their delicious food. We live 3 hours away and are already trying to come up with reasons for going back to Louisville to get more of those wings (and everything else)!
We had the love platter and an extra side of black beans. (I’ve been raving about the food, but the staff is at least as nice as the food is!)

The service was great and the food was delicious! We had no idea what to get but that was no issue, they were patient and friendly answering any questions we had. The food was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. I’m definitely going back to try something new. We ended up with the wings, 1/2 Chicken, beans+rice & yellow rice.

I brought my nephew out here for lunch one day, his recommendation. This was some of the best food I’ve ever tasted. I ordered a 1/2 Jerk Chicken Spicy and got the cabbage and rice and beans. Also got some of their ginger lemon juice. The chicken was so tender that when I went to pick up the drumstick the bone slid right out of it. It was so tender my nephew suggested I use my fingers. The sides were amazing too! I have never had rice and beans so flavorful! I would definitely come back. That was amazing.

First time here, surely will not be the last. I think I have found my new Jamaican spot. No offense to the others I’ve been to, but this hands down was the best I’ve been to. I purchased the jerk chicken burrito and 5 jerk wings. You could actually taste the grilled chicken in the burrito and the wings were “THE BEST” jerk wings I’ve ever had. So much flavor, with just the right amount of heat. I don’t know what was on top of those wings, but they were also full of flavor. Guy at the counter, I forget his name, but he was very helpful, really nice guy. This place is off the chain, can’t wait to go back
