Very nice sushi and hibachi restaurant in Stoughton, WI not too far From madison, WI. Storefront in Main Street parking is what’s available in a small town Main Street.
Service is fantastic and very kind.
Good variety of sushi rolls. Taste fresh. Small variety of appetizers but they have the standard if that is important to you.

The food was ok. I ordered hibachi that came with soup and we got our soup after our hibachi came out. It would have been nice to have the soup during the 15 min wait for the food.

My honest review is this. This place is just ok, nothing stellar. I have Been to a lot of hibachi places in my time. Nothing here will blow your socks off. My Hollywood roll was good, and I ate it quickly. I ordered the shrimp and steak hibachi. The Shrimp looked weird, like they were boiled or frozen, they didn’t look appetizing. Most hibachi places use ny strip steak and nice chunks of flavorful meat, the steak tasted and seemed like a cheaper cut of sirloin and had an appearance of meat out of a can. The steak was tender, good flavor, but little to salty. The hibachi rice is very bland( the biggest let down), definitely not standard hibachi rice. The noodle I got on the side was way better than the rice. If you get hibachi from here, skip the rice and get the noodle. Again ,very mediocre food at best for hibachi. Up the quality!!!

I’ve eaten a lot of cheap sushi in my life. I even eat mediocre sushi at cheap chinese buffets from time to time. Never have I not been able to finish my rolls. They were absolutely disgusting. Cucumber in rolls was one massive chunk with the skin still on too?? My order was also slightly wrong, but at least the server tries his best. Definitely skip this one guys…

Seeing all the great reviews, we were really excited to try the hibachi! Walked in around 11:30. There was another group seated with drinks. We stood around for over 10 minutes waiting to be seated or told to seat ourselves, but never saw a single member of the staff. We ended up leaving, so I can’t comment on the food, but beware that you may end up standing at the host stand for a while!

Ordered take out to eat at the cidery across the street. Online said they would text when ready and we went over to pick up without getting text. Food must have been sitting for awhile as the kids chicken nugget meals turned the sushi to warm mush. Worst sushi I’ve ever had. Grocery store sushi is better quality.

We came in for dinner we got 3 sushi rolls which were ok. The shrimp and steak hibachi was really good. However my wife got chicken hibachi which was extremely cold. Our waitress was nice, but you could tell they were short staffed. Overall it was ok!

We ate at the food truck quite a few times and were always impressed. Not sure why but the dine-in experience wasn’t as good. Sushi is good to fair, hibachi is good, kani salad is terrible. Booths are uncomfortable. Will likely return.

The service was awesome and the food turned out great! We tried the sampler platter and ended up getting another order of it because it was delicious! I felt that the sushi was up to par with other (more well known or expensive) places so I definitely think it’s worth trying if you’re in the area, and the prices are hard to beat. Plus there’s a large selection of different kinds of sushi to try or even different noodles, so it’d be hard to NOT find something you’d end up liking. 10 /10 will bring others to try again!
