Los Charros

Possibly the best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been too. I am from St. Louis and Chimi’s is my go to. This might be better. Awesome service, fast refills on drinks and chips/salsa. Every item I have had has been honestly excellent. Amazing portion size for the price. I am not quite sure how they make money on the Molcajete it is so much food. Tacos Al Pastor are my next favorite so far. Guacamole appetizer is delicious and super fresh. I prefer a more pico de gallo type house salsa, but theirs is yummy and addicting on its own. Ask your server for their hot salsa. Not overpowering with just the right heat for me. If you are anywhere near Rushville, you owe it to yourself to make the drive.

The food is consistently good and fresh, the portions are large, and the service is usually pretty quick. You know what you’re getting when you dine here, as opposed to other places where it is hit or miss. I’ve never had a bad dish from them and there are plenty of options to choose from. The margaritas are awesome as well!! It is definitely worth the drive to Rushville every time.

My wife and I have been mega fans of Charros since 2013 when they were at their previous building in Rushville. We’ve probably been over 100x easily and never had a bad experience. The staff has always been friendly, the food always very good, and you can pick just about anything on the menu and it’s going to be near the best version of that thing you’re going to get anywhere. They deserve all the praise you see here and more.

Lunch- Dine In.
Our waiter was very friendly. Very professional and super speedy service! Wow! My daughter only gets fish tacos, today she tried the Chicken Nachos and loved them. My go to dishes are the soft beef tacos, Los Charros Seafood Platter or the El Patron, 10/10 always! Clean environment. Restrooms clean and well stocked. Whenever we are in this area, this is our spot!

I love this place! I have never been disappointed. Their food is always amazing, hot, and delivered to our table in a timely manner. The service has always been curtious and they haven’t been pushy about getting your order. Would HIGHLY recommend to anybody that enjoys Mexican cuisine.

I mean Los Charles is good food, it’s totally edible. I always enjoy it. But it comes so fast. I don’t even get a chance to catch a buzz with my margarita before my meal comes. And it makes me feel very rushed and almost as if I’m imposing. The one on the east side is not as rude and fast-paced. As the one on the west side which I won’t go to by the way. But being in the service industry for almost 30 years speed isn’t the only thing that makes service enjoyable. I always regret going to Los charros simply because they rush me. Makes me very uncomfortable
