Really like this place the food was absolutely amazing. We sat outside it was great on a nice day. We add a cheeseburger and the mac & cheese. They were both absolutely incredible the food is phenomenal. And our waiter Eric was Top Notch, excellent customer service from Eric I really can’t recommend this place enough.

Eat americana is a great spot for breakfast and brunch, offering both indoor and covered outdoor seating. The friendly staff and welcoming owner, who personally greeted and seated us, added a nice touch.
Portobello mushroom fries were crunchy and paired well with the cilantro dipping sauce. We tried the half-size Bread pudding french toast, which was perfectly balanced—not too sweet, with real maple syrup, cream, and fresh fruit. Pulled pork sandwich was also impressive, with tender pork complemented by coleslaw and pickles.
Portion sizes are fair for the price, making it a good value. Overall, I loved the cozy atmosphere, and I can’t wait to return and try more dishes!

When you walk by Eat Americana, you wouldn’t know every dish is incredibly well done. The dishes may sound common but the presentation and taste is nothing but.
Some of our many many favorites include:
Short rib lasagna
Green chili mac n cheese
Goat cheese stuffed risotto cake
Biscuit and grave with egg and panko encrusted friend chicken
And the leftovers (we take home extras) are great the next day.
Add to it the attentive, friendly service, this should be on your list of places to eat at, whether you are a local or in town to visit Golden Gate Park or Ocean Beach.

Good spot for breakfast although I wished they’d open a bit earlier. I had the biscuits in gravy, which were good and really filling. We also ordered the banana bread pudding French toast with was a good contrast to the richness of the biscuits and gravy. Service was good and food came out pretty quick. If you’re in the area it’s a good spot for American breakfast.

This is a small diner and feels like it. The food is amazing though. They have the best impossible burger I’ve ever had. An order of fries is enough for two people easily. This is my favorite burger spot in the city.
The owner is usually here which makes it even better to eat here since you are supporting a small business.

Excellent service, waiter and everyone super nice. The food was ok, we didn’t particularly liked the BAT scrambled. For the Short rib with eggs the meat was very tender but not particularly tasty. I think it’s a good place but just not for us.

The food is INCREDIBLE. One of the best burgers we’ve ever had — and the mac & cheese with spare rib ought to become a nationwide phenomenon in its own right. This place punches way above its weight. Small & unassuming location with an outdoor seating deck. Charming, but from modest roots. But oh, the food. And oh, the service! We LOVED our waiter — he was relaxed, funny, informative, classy, and a brilliant salesman for all of the dishes. (Plus: he was right about every one of them.). He kept us laughing all night long. We’re plotting to go back already (we live 45+ mins outside of SF and came in just to go here.)

Awesome spot for lunch with very reasonable prices for the quality of the food. We were pretty hungry so some dishes felt small, but assuming you’ve eaten breakfast, it was just the right amount. Not much of a wait, but also not too too many seating spots.

Enjoyed the atmosphere outside. Unpretentious, relaxed vibe, tarps shielding a bit of the wind – heater to stay cozy, pop music in the background. Food was excellent, especially the chicken katsu. Also greatly enjoyed the smores sundae. Eric was respectful, accommodating and responsive.
