At Eastside Social, our goal is to create a casual, comfortable and entertaining locale to enjoy friends, good food and drinks in our home town. We aim to provide top notch everything – service, food, drinks and atmosphere. We serve American comfort food with options for vegan and gluten free customers. We hope to draw more customers to the Neosho downtown to support downtown revitalization. We are honored to build our business in historic downtown Neosho and have painstakingly preserved the original materials in the renovation of this property to maintain the historic feel of the space and honor the previous century of Neosho stories. We are so excited to share this special space with our guests!

It was our first time here. The menu was pretty good. The atmosphere was interesting with plenty of unusual things to look at. They have a patio area, too. Our server was really good.

Went here on a busy Sunday afternoon. The wait was long and food delivery was long but that was all okay and understandable. I ordered the Chicken fried chicken, with a Ceasar side salad, and fries. The chicken with white gravy was well seasoned and perfectly cooked, but the portions were small for the crazy pricing. Fries were good and the salad was good. The sweet tea was good but almost unbearably sweet, tasted sweeter than southern style sweet tea even. Our waitress was a younger girl and she was awesome. Very friendly and helpful!

Just picked up my order for a Tenderloin Sandwich and Fry’s. The Country Seat Sandwich. The sandwich was very good but…underneath the Fry’s was a long black hair. I called Eastside but apparently they don’t take phone calls; just a recording that gives general information. Thus the reason why I’m posting here. I prefer to talk to the manager or owner but that doesn’t seem possible via a phone call and I live too far away to drive back to give them the styrofoam container. I was going to post the picture of the “hair” and food but that’s a bit much. It’s not necessary. I figured that the cooking staff should be made aware that they need to check the food for things like this before sending it out the door.

Super friendly people the place is really clean the burger taste good. However the fries are extremely awful. Seems like they were cooked in old oil because they taste very burnt but arent.. give them a chance, I may have come at the wrong time.

This place is probably my family’s favorite restaurant around. We drive 40 minutes just for a burger and it’s worth it every time! Amazing food, service and atmosphere I only gave it a 5 star review because 10 wasn’t an option.

Sweet place with surprisingly good selections for Vegan/veg. They were busy at 7 pm so we Sat at the bar. Kate, our waitress, was helpful with the menu and bubbling with excitement that it was our first time there. Thanks black bean burger was spicy but not too much and the fried rice with broccoli very tasty. Recommend you check it out!!!

What a great experience! It was a beautiful spring day, the front windows were open. We sat there looking out at the Newton County Courthouse. Our server was attentive & knowledgeable. We should have been warned about the serving sizes! My friend ordered the loaded sweet potato fries. There was enough for 2 or 3 people! They were very rich. I ordered the BBQ chicken nachos. That was enough for at least 2 people!! But oh my.. .they were SO good.
