I was very prepared to leave a glowing review due to the fast delivery and how hot the food was. Then we sat down to eat it…it was terrible. NONE of the dishes (wonton soup, wings w/fried rice, pork egg rolls, beef lumpia, chicken lo mein, and fried dumplings, white rice) had any flavor. None of it did. I actually had to spit out the dumplings and lo mein, while my husband was unable to eat the fried rice. I tried it and it was hard, almost crunchy, with nothing in it. Even plain fried rice at every other restaurant has onions, corn, carrots, etc in it. The egg rolls and lumpia were soggy and bland. I usually love eating leftover Chinese food but there was no saving any of it.
I usually order from China Sun on Seaboard but I always thought they did just pickup. Now I know they do delivery, so I will go back to ordering from them.

I usually don’t leave reviews. Pleas save your time and your money. This isn’t a good Chinese food restaurant. The wings were under cooked. The egg drop soup was gross. The fries rice was bland absolutely horrible. The best thins was the crab Rangoon and it was a 2 out 5. If was so overloaded with chives and onions that I could barely eat it. Maybe they have other good items on the menu but what I had today made me never even consider going back.

The food here tastes like it was made in a large batch about a month ago, then reheated in the microwave when it gets ordered. It was so bad we threw everything away after just a couple bites, and our whole family has had sour stomachs from little bit we actually ate. Avoid this place.

The food was good. My beef and broccoli was really liquidy but maybe that’s because I’m used to more commercial Chinese places like Panda Express. The egg roll was cooked perfectly, it was so good. Definitely will come again for my lunch break.

East Wok is the only Chinese food place around here that reminds me of my favorite places in New York. I’ve found a lot of places in VB just drown their chicken and broccoli in a crazy amount of oil or they don’t trim the meat well and it’s all fat. The sweet tea and wonton soup are my favorite comfort foods and the delivery is always quicker than expected. We love a family run business that’s consistent and gooood!

Typically everything is perfect here as far as great food great service but unfortunately after 10 years of being a loyal customer I was told that I cannot have what I ordered and had already paid for to be re-delivered because they messed up and gave us the wrong rice. She said if I want it correct then I need to come in the store. And honestly as good as the food is I would have been more than happy but my wife had just left with the only car and headed to work. I am strongly disappointed, and as of now I will be searching for a new favorite place

My husband got Chicken and Broccoli and white rice. I got a small chicken broth and I asked for an order of vegetables SPRING ROLLS . The chicken was not chicken, it was MYSTERY MEAT. The rice was ok. I ordered spring rolls I got two giant egg rolls that were not cooked all the way and the inside was so nasty I kid you not my dog wouldn’t eat it. Lesson learned I will continue to eat at BOARD WOK RESTAURANT on Sandbridge Road
