Got take out when in a nearby hotel. They did a great job wrapping things up so they didn’t spill and gave me plates and plasticware. Hostess was very nice when I came to pick up. Food was good. Great portions. Would definitely go here next time I come here. The menus posted were out of date so the most current menu is in the photos here.

Stopped here after work 12/4/2025, for an order of shrimp fried rice, when I kept crunching onto little bits of something, Couldn’t figure out what is was. This is what I found in my food (pictured). I have been coming here for a while, never would I think something like this would happen with my food. I thought this place was ok. I am totally disgusted! I lost my appetite instantly. I will not be going here again.

It was truly exceptional. The sesame chicken and Mongolian beef were both incredibly delicious, with the perfect balance of flavors and textures. The sesame chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a savory sauce that had just the right amount of sweetness and nuttiness from the sesame seeds. The Mongolian beef was also cooked to perfection, with juicy, tender beef that was seasoned perfectly and served with a flavorful sauce that was both savory and slightly spicy.

Update 2nd visit: Once again our food was amazing! We ordered 4 different dishes. This time we tried the Crispy Roast Duck, Chicken Pad Thai, Chicken BBQ, and Sesame Chicken.
Excellent food. We ordered 4 different dishes and they all tasted amazing. The atmosphere inside is very upscale and inviting. Definitely a great place to bring the family or have a date night.

We really enjoyed our lunch here. We got the chicken coconut soup, beef drunken noodles, sesame chicken, and Mongolian beef. Everything tasted really good. If I were being picky, I’d say the Mongolian beef was my least favorite and wouldn’t get a 5 star. Drunken noodles is one of my favorite dishes in general, and this one did hit the spot! The service was great, and I felt it was a very kid-friendly place. It’s in a nice location with plenty of parking as well.

I usually go to the Bowie location but this is my first time at the one in Ellicott City.
The ambiance was great. The food was delish and plentiful. I took leftovers home and I still couldn’t finish it all myself. I had the shrimp fried rice and the lucky 7 sushi. Everything was fresh, the shrimp big and the broccoli still had a crunch like I like it.
The staff were very attentive. I was so happy to see the consistency in food quality between the two restaurants. I highly recommend it.

We’re new to the area from a very Asian neighborhood in Southern California and went to East Moon Asian Bistro for the first time after shopping in the area. We entered around dinner time and I saw the signage at the hostess desk about Chinese pork bun (something I loved while living in SoCal) so I was hoping the server would elaborate. Sadly, that didn’t happen and the lack of communication and customer service would be a constant reoccurrence this evening.
I liked that being seated (in a booth for the two of us) was quick and that we were given salad with sesame dressing and a glass of water almost immediately. The ambience and decor was nice too. The restroom was also clean.
I didn’t like sitting for nearly 20-30 minutes afterwards with no server returning for our order. When the server did come back around, she didn’t say hello, introduce herself, ask if this was our first time or recommend anything from the menu. She also rushed us by trying to take our menus before we had finished ordering.
We ordered a Japanese beer, an East Moon alcoholic drink, udon noodles with beef (to share and for home), a happy family entree and a Thai lemongrass meat entree. We would’ve asked for a sushi or appetizer order to eat there and a pork bun order to go BUT our server didn’t seem to want to hear it. I tried to ask a question to signal for her to slow down and communicate but she whirled away without answering. She came back to deliver the drinks, then the food and once more at the end of the meal when she asked if we wanted more water when it would have been more appropriate to ask whether we wanted dessert, to-go boxes and the check. A check-up on water and the current food should have been conducted midway through the meal. Again, I would’ve liked to order pork buns to go but wasn’t given – again – the opportunity before our server was gone again without communicating.
After ordering, I went to the restroom to wash up. I was pleased to find it was clean. Upon return to the table, I was also pleased to find these HUGE portions of food – and it was delicious!
Overall, we’re getting closer to finding delicious Asian food here in Maryland that compares to my Chinese, Japanese and Korean community in Los Angeles, California but too bad service here was lackluster (long wait til ordering, no intro, no follow-up and rushed). The food was very good and given in generous portions but the dine-in service makes take-out seem like a blessing.

The food here is amazing, I love every time I come. Servers are friendly, sometimes they are just checking every min to see if you are doing ok or need something. Today I got a drink, I didn’t like it, but salad, sushi rolls and appetizers were good as always 🙂

Full bar, amazing sushi options and nice decor. Good for dining in or carry out. Parking can get tight but that’s the only downfall and can’t fault them for that. The soups have so much flavor and pair very well with any of the sushi rolls. Chicken tempura is my favorite off of the lunch special menu.
