Fantastic deli sandwiches at a good price in a simple straightforward place with outstanding and kind staff who make sure you get a great sandwich. Reuben was delicious, and the smoked turkey sandwich was great…you could smell and taste the smoke. We were lucky to avoid the long line that formed after we ordered.

I’ve been wanting to try Carl’s for some time, and finally got around to it. Pastrami is my favorite, so I tried it hot on rye with pepper cheese. It was tender and delicious! I was partial to the pastrami at Nomad before they closed, but this was a close second, and really hit the spot!

I heard about the place for years and we finally made our way over. It was a snowy day so we had no trouble finding parking. Inside it’s your basic family Deli nothing flashy it’s everything that you should expect.
I ordered a turkey sandwich with German potato salad and my friend ordered the pastrami sandwich with pasta salad. He said the pastrami was amazing and the pickles that came with it were crisp. There was a ton of meat and great value for what you get although the bread was a little soggy. The pasta salad was not great in his opinion.
The turkey itself was great but I will say that the hoagie bun it came on was clearly microwaved and so halfway through eating my bread became hard to chew and bite into. The German potato salad was just okay.
We got drinks from the cooler case and I got a soda and it was flat. They happily exchanged it for me but the second one was flat as well and they were two different types of soda.
Overall, I’d say it’s worth checking it out but I wouldn’t say it’s anything to tave about.

Stopped in for lunch today. Carl’s was busy as usual! Placed our order with Matt and barely had to wait for it to be freshly prepared. Had a heaping Hot Pastrami that was out of this world! Everyone was super friendly. You get the feel that most patrons today were repeat customers who were there for the excellent food, friendly service and fantastic atmosphere. I’m already planning what my next menu choice will be when we return.

See my photo to understand what you’re getting yourself into LOL. I was a bit overwhelmed by the menu at first, but you order Subway-style: pick your bread, meat, cheese, and toppings.
I ordered salami and smoked turkey with all the accoutrements, and my husband ordered the pastrami on rye with spicy mustard and Swiss. While my sandwich was great and I got enough meat for about four more sandwiches throughout the week, his was far superior. We will definitely be coming back, and next time we’ll be sharing the pastrami.

Delicious sandwiches! Seriously if you want an authentic pastrami or corned beef sandwich this is the place to go. Prices were fair. Portions were decent. Staff were friendly and fast.

Oh man, amazing sandwiches! Nothing fancy, but delicious. You might have to wait in line for a few minutes, but it’s worth it. We had pastrami and Reuben sandwiches.

I was at the hospital and this place is walking distance. The menu is nice and a great selection. I ordered a corned beef, a pastrami, a ham and cheese and some others. Upon receiving the meal, I was impressed with the portion. The flavor of the bun and meat were delicate and delicious. I give the deli a five star due to the freshness and quality. Definitely will be a returning visitor.
