East Garden A Hidden Gem in the Heart of the City
Tucked away in a quiet plaza, East Garden delivers comforting Chinese classics with a warm, family run vibe. The sesame chicken is crispy perfection, and the hot & sour soup hits all the right notes. Service is fast, friendly, and refreshingly genuine. Whether you’re grabbing takeout or settling in for a cozy meal, this spot feels like home. Don’t skip the house made chili oil it’s magic.

Pleasant, clean interior with fast service. Fish maw soup had good flavor but maw was leathery tough. Salt and Pepper Squid was overcooked. Scallop Fried Rice was made using rock hard dried scallops, and it almost broke my teeth to eat. I’m not sure the people working here understand Cantonese cooking.

During my last visit to Chinatown, my partner and some friends enjoyed a meal nearby, and I couldn’t help but notice the hustle and bustle of this restaurant. A couple of months later, we decided to give it a try, and I’m so glad we did—they did not disappoint!

The restaurant was clean and inviting, and I was pleasantly surprised by the extensive menu. We opted for a mix of dim sum and a lunch special. The shiu mai and beef noodle roll were delicious, while the spare ribs could have been improved. That said, the pork chops were a bit on the salty side due to MSG, but they were incredibly flavorful and damn delicious! The service was good, typical of a chinese restaurant IYKYK

Overall, I highly recommend this place and can’t wait to return!

East Garden in Chinatown is a must-visit for dim sum lovers. Their shrimp dumplings are huge and juicy, while the fried dough is crispy and satisfying. The beef rice noodle rolls are soft and tender with just the right amount of sweet soy sauce. We also loved the walnut shrimp—creamy and perfectly paired with candied walnuts.

Stopped in before seeing a show near by and we enjoyed everything. The tea was a nice touch to bring out and was hot and really good. All of the food was flavorful and a nice portion to share. The egg roll were also great. Even got some mango custard at the end and it was a nice way to end a meal. Will visit again if I am back in town

We stopped for lunch-dinner before living Chinatown. The place was empty (on a Wednesday),except for takeout orders which kept being picked up.
Their food is delicious and we plan to come back, we had tea before the meal such a delicious with notes of orange blossom and jasmine. Our meal somewhat was excessive since we wanted to try everything, we kept ordering but didn’t take pictures of the other items. However we recommend this restaurant has such good service and delicious food! There’s plenty of parking and price wise it was a fair amount to pay for such exquisite meal. We will be back soon!

This has to be the best Chinese food I’ve had in such a long time it was 10 out of 10 so so good. The house special lobster dish was incredibly amazing. Best lobster I’ve had. We had the orange chicken, shrimp kung pao, honey walnut, shrimp, pecking duck, braised Japanese tofu, sautéed pea leaves, beef chow fun, fried shrimps, and steam juice dumplings.
Service was super great and friendly and very efficient and fast. Very cute restaurant you will have to pay for parking. It was seven dollars at 5 PM.

Went to Chinatown after the noon mass and found this place. We haven’t been here and so for a change we decided to walk in and got seated right away. Most all tables are occupied. We didn’t get disappointed because the food was good and delicious. Service was fine and they’re nice sever as well. We also met the owner of the restaurant and she’s nice. People are coming in and out. If you’re in Chinatown try this place and for sure you will like the food too. Serving are big good for 4 people. But I went here only me and my mom. Very reasonable price too.
