My girlfriends flew to chs this rainy and cold Memorial Day weekend to celebrate our 40th birthday and our over 30 years of friendship. We couldn’t feel luckier to have Emilee as our server. My friends and I were beyond impressed and we truly couldn’t of asked for a more magical experience. Thank you Emilee and Sam for your kindness and hospitality. You made our childhood and adult selves so incredibly happy!

What a wonderful experience my niece and I had this past weekend! We went for an afternoon tea for her sweet 16 birthday celebration! The waitresses and owner were attentive and kind from the moment I called to when we walked out of the door. The sandwiches, scones, and desserts were delicious and the tea was divine! They also brought out a surprise piece of chocolate cake for my niece. I highly recommend this establishment and will surely be back! If you’re looking for a fancy afternoon full of yummy treats and tea, then look no further!

Such a fun and delightful experience. My sister and I always try to find tea service anywhere we take a holiday and this will go down as one of the most enjoyable. Thank you so much to Samantha and Emily for the laughter and conversation.

Probably my favorite spot on the Peninsula! Have been going for drinks and quiche for years, the atmosphere makes me feel at home. Parisian and old Charleston vibes. Highly recommend!

My daughter, daughter in law, 8 year old granddaughter & myself came to East Bat Meeting House for an afternoon tea experience while on vacation in Charleston. From the first call reserving the time and meeting Sam & Emily in person, they are amazing. It was so much fun. They even did a special tier of food for our 8 year old. All the food was exceptional, a variety of delicious tea as well as the experience. I would highly recommend doing an afternoon tea with Sam & Emily. My granddaughter wanted to go again the next day!

We love afternoon tea so we decided to check out this spot since we were going to be in Charleston for the day. Afternoon tea is $45 per person, or $50 if you order champagne, and they require a 48-hour reservation and also cancellation window.
