We stopped in at this East Bay Deli location and were impressed. The facility was spotlessly clean, and the staff greeted us with warm, efficient service that made us feel right at home. I ordered the Crinkle Cut French Fries with Deli Seasoning—they were delicious! Perfectly seasoned, crispy, and the portion was way more generous than I expected.
Everyone else in our group had sandwiches and gave them rave reviews. It’s rare to find a place that nails the details so well—from quality food to great hospitality. We’ll be back next time we’re in town!
I love a good pickle spear so that’s a plus for me and although I enjoyed my sandwich, I will say I prefer my meats to be sliced a bit thinner and love a good shredded lettuce on my Italian subs or maybe just a little more lettuce since there’s so much meat in the sandwich. Reasonably priced and had a lot of other good sandwich and soup options. Good place for a quick lunch.
There’s plenty of seating available both inside and outside, but I’d recommend going earlier before it gets busy since wait times can increase later on. That’s one reason we prefer going in the morning. They offer breakfast until around 10:30 or 11 AM, and their lunch and dinner menu is huge. It’s also open seating, so if it’s your first time visiting, you order at the front counter first and then take a seat in the dining area. I was a little confused the first time we went, so just a heads up for anyone else trying it out.
