I took my dad here for the first time and we both thoroughly enjoyed our lunches! He had the grilled chicken Caesar wrap, which was ample! And served with fries. I had an egg salad sandwich with bacon! I appreciated the fact that I could order light mayo for the egg salad sandwich, because it’s made to order! Everything was super fresh, and the staff really hustle to make sure all the customers are taken care of. I look forward to coming back, because there are so many good things on the menu!

My husband and I were looking to try a new breakfast spot and found Early Bird Cafe on the map. We had a great first experience. Payton was a wonderful and attentive waitress. The menu had lots to choose from and it all sounded delicious. We went with Chicken & Biscuits and the Steakhouse Bagel Sandwich. I highly recommend both! We also tried some hot lattes. Both were very tasty but just not as hot as we like to enjoy. The atmosphere is cute and the service is speedy. Even though we live about 45 minutes away, we will definitely come back!

Nested in the corner of the Walmart shopping center is this small adorably decorated little cafe. The staff were very tentative and personable with us from the moment we walked in. The specialty coffee was delicious. Breakfast was a wonderful surprise. Perfectly poached eggs, beautifully silky hollandaise, fresh smashed avocado on a fresh sourdough everything bagel. We loved the many gluten free options offered with over stuffed omelets. It was definitely worth a small town try.

The waiters and host are spot on and the food was good. Elaine was a great waiter she kept checking on us and the other waiters keep our tea cups filled with hot water. We didn’t have to look around to get attention because they were always around. Lovely spot here in Oxford can’t wait to take my family back again.

I heard great things about this place and so I went to try it out. I had the sausage gravy over biscuits with homefries and an orange juice. Everything was delicious, service was great, and it had a nice atmosphere. I think this is a great addition to our town and I’ll be back to try more.

August 29, 2025. Tried this place for breakfast for the first time and unfortunately it was disappointing. The atmosphere was very loud, service was slow and inattentive, and the food was nothing special for the high prices. To top it off, when I left a modest tip (reflecting the poor service), the waitress actually rolled her eyes at me. Definitely not the welcoming or enjoyable dining experience I was hoping for.

We came on a Sunday morning and it was busy however we got right in. We had our food in a very reasonable time.

Coffee was exceptional. The wheat toast it’s not the little thin stuff however it’s the thick amazing toast.

My wife had chicken and biscuit covered with gravy which was very tasty. Maybe could have had a little bit more gravy on it but still a sufficient amount.

I had meat lovers omelette minus the Pennsylvania favorite scrapple. Sorry not a native Pennsylvanian. Your home fries were cooked just right. Like I already said but worth repeating fantastic toast!

So overall, They were very busy but we still had great service and great food. They managed to keep it a cozy hometown and enjoyable experience.

I definitely recommend stopping in. Next time it’ll be the corned beef hash on the plate for me to give it a try.
