First time eating here in Davenport, Iowa location. Several items to note. First very large variety of food offerings. 8 serving stations, 14 different items at each total 112 – wow. Including sushi, rice, traditional items, shrimp, fish, salads & desserts. One section containing uncooked items meant for hibachi cook to prepare stir-fry. Not well identified, had to ask cook about it. He said a sign explained, sign was very small easy to miss. Wife & me ate egg drop soup nice hot, egg rolls, several types chicken, coconut shrimp and very tasty desserts. Only one item – chezzy mussels were very tough – not good. Server was friendly although had to ask twice for a glass of water. Used plates were only partially removed from table. Overall, recommend for a quick seating dining experience. Great location easy to find.

My first visit was on a Wednesday at around 5:00PM and we loved it, ended up being $37-ish for 2 adults. The second time we visited was on a Sunday at around 4:30PM and it was packed, the smell of the restaurant made me want to eat before we were even sat at our table, so many selections that are quite tasty and well seasoned. The whole fried shrimp with salt and pepper was good, my favorite items were the coconut shrimp and clams with cheese, and I had raw fish by itself for the first time and I liked it! I prefer the red one over the more chicken-looking one. The staff was friendly and straight to the point, quick service and picked the plates off our table as we were standing up to go get more. I recommend this buffett to everyone who isn’t afraid to try new things out, like the delicious frog legs they had, as well as to anyone who just sticks with mac n’ cheese, bbq ribs and springrolls. Food was warmer and fresher looking on Sunday, but that is to expect from a buffett, the busier the better for everyone, so what are you waiting for?

The was very good. The hibachi chef was amazing a little too spicy but loved it. Currently under new management and it seemed to me ther was a bigger variety of food. I only go for the hibachi grill but did try some other food and it was not cold (1pm). The place was packed and yet the food areas were very clean. Somebody was constantly cleaning the bars.

I really want write a good review about Dynasty Buffet. From the moment you walk in you can tell there’s something different. From the dirty fish tank to the dusty blinds. It shows a lack of cleanliness. The egg drop soup I used to love almost looked like scrambled eggs. The fried rice and the noodles were too thick. My crab Rangoon shot out all over my table as I bit into it. Never had a crab Rangoon do that before. And now it’s scoop your ice cream. With the scoop sitting in a bowl of water.

Thought this place was going to be great as the parking lot is always packed for lunch and dinner. Boy was I wrong. Tried 3 plates of various and assorted dishes, most of it was greasy and kind of had the same flavor. What was good? The fried walleye was good, but really could have used some tartar sauce and the Cantonese Fried Rice. Other than that, not worth it. Will not be back. Buffets in general are a no no. Have to swear off even trying these things. Now I have a stomach ache.

Can’t say enough about this place. Absolutely wonderful surprise. The food was fresh and excellent variety, everything was delicious. The servers noticed that we were a little warm (used to being the frigid casinos!) And they asked if it was too warm and then adjusted the thermostat. Great food and great service, where sometimes these places fall flat, Dynasty did great.

First time here and kinda disappointed after reading great reviews and my expectations. So, half of the food was cold, and everything had the same taste. I mean you won’t leave hungry , lots of options but it’s like blend. Some of the sushi were not really fresh, I quess been sitting there for longer time. We really liked the HIBACHI GRILL, probably that would be my reason to come back. Another issue is bench cushions, they are not acceptable, they needs to be changed ASAP, to my understanding I would never sit down my customers on them, that’s no respect. (Picture included) Also got charged for my toddler that she is 2 years old even we told that she was 1 year and 11 before we sat down.
