LOVE ME some Dutch Bros. And this is my local- and favorite- location. Kids here are super sweet and friendly with us every time, and they (almost) always make my drink correctly! I mean. Is it overpriced? Sure. But these are the times we are in (where we pay $10.85 for a large iced Niner with sweet cream and soft top, and a dollar tip)… besides, I’m the one dumb enough to pay this, so that’s not on them!

Dutch Bros has become a northwest staple. The drinks are good but you’ll remember the service. Every one you visit is typically Gen Z’ers who have been trained to be lively and engaging. They always bring a smile. My go-to is a medium iced, sugar-free rebel with regular flavors, passion fruit, lime, coconut, and some cream mixed in. It’s a lovely, bright, tart flavor that reminds me of the sun.

I have been picking up large containers of coffee for my church from the Sherwood site for the past years. Consistently their staff offers to carry the containers to my vehicle; they initiate service, show respect to an old man and are always pleasant. Their service is outstanding.

I pulled up to an empty drive-thru at 12:35 pm, and the employee was completely disengaged. No greeting, no thank you—just a card reader shoved in my face. I understand not everyone wants to chat, but a simple “thanks” for spending $6+ on a coffee would be nice. Instead, she handed me my drinks and immediately turned her back to me. I said, “Well… thanks?” and just drove off.
To make things worse, I overheard her loudly discussing a dramatic breakup while I was still at the window. It’s clear Dutch Bros doesn’t care about its customers or the professionalism of its employees. Really disappointing.
Also, the coffee quality is hit or miss—sometimes it tastes like I asked for, sometimes it’s completely wrong. It’s clear that the training here is either non-existent or severely lacking. If we’re paying $6+ for a cup of coffee, there should be a minimum level of expertise behind the counter, but it seems like there’s none. The inconsistency is really frustrating.

We love Dutch Bros, coffee, and Service. And if there’s ever any problems with an order, they are quick to fix it at any location.
We travel a lot and have gotten the wrong drink or it just doesn’t taste right and we have gone to the next Dutch Bros location and they fix it without question
