There’s something about grabbing coffee and a quick bite that sets the tone for the whole day. I stopped into this Dunkin’ early morning, not really expecting more than the basics — but the way it played out actually left me smiling.
I ordered a signature caramel latte, an avocado toast, and a Bavarian cream donut. The latte came out rich and sweet, just enough caramel to keep it smooth without tipping into sugar overload. The avocado toast was fresh and crisp, stacked with creamy avocado that made it feel more like breakfast than just a snack. And the donut? Classic Dunkin’ — soft, filled right, exactly the kind of comfort bite you want with coffee.
Here’s where it went from good to memorable. The store had only one girl working the counter. You could see she was hustling hard, trying to take care of everyone. It meant the wait was longer than usual, but instead of hiding behind it, she came over, apologized sincerely, and slipped me an extra donut as a thank you for being patient. That small gesture flipped the whole experience — it wasn’t about the donut, it was about feeling noticed and appreciated.
The shop itself was clean and relaxed, the donut case stacked, and plenty of seating if you want to sit for a bit. Nothing flashy, but everything in place.
Final take: 5 stars, no doubt. Sometimes it’s the little human touches that make an ordinary coffee run feel like a win.

Neglecting gloves after the bathroom!
Such a disappointing experience at Baskin Robbins. This location is combined with Dunkin’ Donuts, yet not a single cashier was at the counter when I arrived. After waiting about 10 minutes, a young woman finally showed up—but instead of acknowledging the customers (there were three of us by then, including a couple behind me), she completely ignored us.
When she eventually turned to me, I asked for a sample and was ready to place my order right away. Instead, she immediately switched her attention to the people BEHIND me and started serving them, cutting me off mid-sentence. Their order took another 10 minutes, as the woman was picking out multiple tubs of ice cream and her husband was struggling to get into the bathroom because the code given was “951 backwards” (meaning 951159).
The employee then ran over to help with the code (makes you wonder how clean that lock is…), and when she came back, she went straight to scooping ice cream WITHOUT washing her hands or putting on gloves. At that point, I honestly wanted to leave. I don’t think it’s a customer’s job to explain to food service workers why gloves are necessary, especially after touching questionable surfaces.
Thankfully, another employee returned from break and served me instead. She was quick, polite, and most importantly, put on gloves. Because of her, I didn’t give this place just 1 star.
The ice cream itself is always delicious—that’s why I go to Baskin Robbins in the first place. But as for this specific location, I’ll be avoiding it.

Rude employee, not sure if it’s the manager based of other reviews. She has black hair,Caucasian and heavy set. She yells at her employees and doesn’t know how to take an order, even with the clear name of the drink she asks what goes in it, and if that’s what we want. Corporate really needs to look into this location. I’ve been to many coffee shops and none have given me issues when ordering. This place needs better training and customer service.

On our way to Julian we stopped in for iced Pumpkin Spice lattes (which we instead had made as frozen frappes?) because a highly recommended place closer to home was jam packed. I’m sure our beverages were just as delicious with, most likely, a lower cost and a much quicker turn-around. Only one other person in the restaurant at the time. Unfortunately we’d already had breakfast so, as tempting as all those donuts were, we took a pass. They had a nice menu of other food items as well. Will swing by again someday.

I always buying an ice matcha latte here in this place , and it’s horrible because even tho I requested a light ice they still not followed what I ask for .more ice less matcha 🙁 or either light ice less matcha , it’s weird and cheap. 1-2-3 sip it’s gone lol

Order was completely wrong and when we tried getting it fixed. The manager Anna started going off on her employees, going as far as calling one of them Jeffrey Dahmer. Unprofessional, rude, arrogant and incredibly infuriating. Don’t understand why she was behaving that way with her employees. Hope this gets addressed soon by corporate

Really good coffee and not bad prices! Donuts are always good and seem to be pretty freshly made! Service was cool it took awhile that’s the only reason for the 4 stars was for the wait… the drive thru had like 6 cars they had to pay attention to prior to taking our order but that’s ok! The employee was a cool dude that was nice and personable so the wait was all good! Customer service was good and the location was clean!

i moved to Ramona in April, and have been a regular since. i always bring my dog on coffee runs, and they have made him a regular too with their pup cups. they are so sweet and thoughtful, and love to see my Finn. every time i come through the drive thru, it has been a quick experience and they have not once messed up an order for me. they give great suggestions if you get tired of your every day order. every staff member has been extremely kind and smile or say hello to my boy. it’s a special experience to have a connection with your coffee shop. they don’t ask for tips, nor do they have a tip jar in the drive thru, but please insist! they are amazing here, and the mamas and young individuals who work here deserve it! thank you so much Dunkin Ramona for being the best coffee/ice cream shop. FINN LOVES YOU!!!!
