There are so many options on the menu, I’ll have to come back and try more. I did not mind the fact that they forgot our fries (it was too late to go back by the time we noticed), and luckily we noticed we were missing a drink, so we were able to get that at least. The food is good (worth the wait — which will most likely get better as time goes on). Their horchata is the best horchata I have ever had in this town, so it is definitely worth a try. They make it in-house.

We came in on Taco Tuesday. It was super busy and they got every order out in a timely manner, fast and accurate. Food was fresh and delicious! The manager Maria Rosales did a phenomenal job organizing orders for both front and drive thru! Give that girl a raise!!

We went in on a Friday evening, it was busy, as to be expected, however, the young ladies at the registers were making quick work of taking orders. It was impressive to see how well they made the guests feel like the only people in the room while efficiently moving the line forward. The food was great, everyone in my family enjoyed their respective meals. Our daughter had already gone about three times before so she knew the menu and recommended things for us, which was helpful as their menu is rather large. Not a complaint, just an observation. Lots to choose from!
The staff was so wonderful! They were friendly and patient. The food came out quickly and exactly as ordered. It was an overall enjoyable experience. We will definitely be back!

Went thru the drive-thru on Tuesday (Jan 27) at ~8:15pm. Order was $11.36, gave the attendant $20.36. He initially gave me $6 in change. I ask about the rest, but he closed the window, and didn’t get back to me for almost a minute. Then he added an extra $2, once I showed him the receipt. Had to correct him again, to get the last buck. Not coming back !

We have only ordered to go so far and by going inside. My favorite thing here so far is their chicken tacos. They’re amazing but they’re street tacos though so get several cause they are really small.
I got the taco plate this time. Their rice and beans are good but they really skimped out on giving me much with my order which is annoying cause they are so cheap to make. Their Birria wasn’t as flavorful as other places and prices are kinda high. It was $46 for 3 of us. But the people working were pretty nice. We’ll be back to try more things on the menu but I’ll be sticking with chicken dishes.

So on taco Tuesday their tacos are half price so I got 2 tacos, birria fries, 2 tamales, and a large horchata that cost about $30 which I wouldn’t say is bad that’s a pretty good price. the only problem is that the tamales are extremely bland and dry, the tacos lacked flavor and we’re dry, and the birria fries were very disappointing Didn’t have much on it and the meat lacked flavor and it was dry. Thw horchata was also disappointing it didn’t have very much flavor it was just kind of vanilla only. There were about 8 cars in the drive through and I was in line for about 30 minutes. On a positive note the employees were very nice and knew the menu very well and were very patient. Overall I wouldn’t really recommend it unless you’re desperate for Mexican food it’s just about as good as it gets for Tehachapi still better at other places

Most people complaining about the wait went on opening day, and half the town went so of course the wait was gonna be long. Literally you could see that upon entrance so I don’t see why they were surprised. I think the food was pretty good for the price, definitely better than other places here and cheaper, since I got asada fries for 14 and other places charge 17 plus here. Staff were really friendly and tried their best, people just love to complain.

Good quick service. It’s mushy though. Asked for extra crispy French fries and were soggy and cold when I got home 15 mins later. Breakfast burrito bacon was not crispy enough but ate like 30 mins later and was still warm. This is not the same as Bako

My brother and I went in a couple days ago to get some takeout lunch for his family. Everything looked and smelled very good. I had a chile verde burrito and it was VERY good, albeit pretty messy. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Tehachapi.
