Lived here for a year and not once have I had a decent experience. Please get new store management. It’s obvious that the person in charge here has no control. (Photo posted was taken at 7:51pm, and all lights in the building were off.)
I get to the window, and immediately notice the price for my food should not be $18 but I don’t sweat it. I see that the drink he is handing me is completely the wrong color, so I ask is that the chai I ordered? He says “no it’s an espresso..” He then turns around and absolutely LAUNCHES the full cup into the trash and begins to angrily slam out ingredients and a cup to make the chai.
He uses no ice, forgets the Carmel I asked for, so I have to ask the young girl working with him to remind him. (To which he then slams the caramel bottle out on the counter and angrily pumps) He comes back to the window, hands me the drink, with no straw and immediately storms away to finish cleaning the dairy dispensers I guess he was working on, before I can even ask for a straw.
I knock on the window, he returns with the same attitude and I ask for a straw, he gives one. I then ask him what is his problem and tell him that he’s had an attitude throughout my whole order when I haven’t done anything rude or out of pocket once. I told him that whatever he’s going through, I do not deserve to get the brunt of it and be treated poorly when it probably has nothing to do with me and he promptly looks at me and forcefully shuts the window in my face.
Very awful experience. Having worked in Dunkin management for years, this was disappointing and saddened me. My drink was also made terribly incorrect and it tastes awful (considering he didn’t use ice which is necessary for proper drink recipes and ensure proper measurements within the drink). This person needs to think of another work opportunity other than customer service if he cannot control his attitude/emotions when completing a simple order while carrying out a cleaning task such as the dairy dispensers.
This is not the first time I have had an unpleasant customer service experience here (previously dealt with a haughty young woman that insisted on explaining that I needed to get my donut names straight instead of just helping me order the one that I feebly described to her, only for her to get it wrong and get irritated when I brought it up to her at the window).
The most unfortunate thing is that this is my local dunkin which I have to consciously forgo going to and instead opt for the one that is 10 mins further since they actually have good service and are kind to people. Needless to say, I am disappointed and have hopefully learned my lesson for the last time.
