I went there this morning to get some donuts. I hadn’t been to this location before. I thought since it was a full size Dunkin that they’d make the donuts there fresh but I found out with the donuts I received (and reading the other reviews here) that they do not make fresh donuts here. They just microwave them like at Speedway and other “Dunkin-lite” establishments. My donuts were dry, stale, not moist at all like a good donut should be, coldish, and just overall very disappointing. It was like buying day old nondescript donuts at Walmart – that’s what they looked and tasted like. The glazing on the top was as hard as the ice/snow mix we’ve had in our recent cold weather – not soft/steamy/and glistening the way a good fresh donut is. I wish there was a Krisy Kreme donut shop in town, instead. b) I was also surprised when I went through the drive-thru that the menu board one sees at the order station didn’t even mention donuts! It was all drinks. 2 big boards full of various drinks. Obviously Dunkin has dropped the name “Dunkin Donuts” from their name and are clearly de-emphasizing donuts which I think is a mistake. I won’t be returning to this location or any Dunkin that microwaves their donuts.

Person taking my order was extremely short and rather rude. I started ordering doughnuts. Once I ordered four, I realized I wanted a half dozen. She quickly said, “Well, if you wanted a half dozen, you should have started with that.” Lol. At this point, I just wanted to leave. I replied with, “never mind, let’s just do the four.”

I understand, no one likes working fast food or service, but then my iced coffee, super simple order with cream and hazelnut sweetener, came with no sweetener and barely any cream. Honestly tasted like acid. Worst iced coffee I’ve ever gotten from Dunkin. The doughnut’s came thrown face down in the bottom of the bag. I have always gotten them in a box from dunkin? Maybe I’m wrong? The specialty spider doughnuts were supposed to be something cute for my kids, but they were so smashed, you couldn’t even tell what they were supposed to be. I was hoping this newer Dunkin would be better than the one in Christiansburg, but they are both not what I remembered Dunkin being before they opened in this county.

Walking into Dunkin’ early on a Sunday morning usually feels like entering a caffeine desert—quiet, calm, and waiting for its first brave soul. This time, that brave soul was me, armed with a large order of coffees and donuts big enough to fuel a small office, a family reunion, or possibly an Olympic team.

To my surprise, the place wasn’t busy at all. Maybe everyone else was still in bed contemplating the meaning of life, but I walked right in to find the friendliest crew of young, cheerful employees—who all looked like they had exams on Monday but were somehow still glowing with energy. Honestly, I don’t know what Dunkin’ is putting in their employee training program, but those girls had speed, efficiency, and smiles that could power the lights.

I rattled off my big order, mentally preparing to stand there for a while scrolling through my phone. Nope. They got it done so fast I barely had time to blink. Coffees lined up perfectly, donuts boxed like edible treasures, everything labeled, clean, and handled with care. Even I started feeling more organized standing there.

The store itself was spotless—no sticky counters, no donut crumbs staging a rebellion, no coffee spills doing interpretive dance on the floor. Just clean, calm, and smelling like sugar and hope.

Honestly, it was one of the smoothest Dunkin’ runs I’ve ever had. Great service, friendly staff, fast prep, and good vibes all around. I’d definitely visit again—especially on a Sunday morning, when Dunkin’ feels like your own private caffeine sanctuary.

Pulled up to drive thru… I don’t normally get Dunkin but I asked her for a minute she said okay and then came back very rudely with “we don’t have any hot food” I wasn’t there for hot food so I didn’t care. Then I asked her if they had frappes and she rudely said “NO” in a very rude demeanor. I just pulled off. I’m sorry but if you hate your job that bad… get a new one. Her customer service skills SUCK! This was at 230pm on Friday Jan 6th.

The service was very slow, and when I questioned why people who ordered after us in the kiosk were served first, I was yelled at by the manager. She argued with me rather than working on my order. I ordered donuts and 2 coffees, but customers with complicated drinks and sandwiches were served before me even though I ordered first. Terrible system and terrible customer service. Rather than apologizing, the manager treated me like I was stupid and asked if I could see the drive thru. Will never go back.

Ordered ahead, hot food was not available. Waiting on refund 3 weeks now. This week I ordered ahead 30 min ahead. Not only was it not prepaired, All walk in orders were piling up on the printer Twisted and coiled. You can even see them printing. As I only haven enough time to run over and back to office. I thought 30 min was enough time. I am now waiting on that refund awell. I won’t be back to this location. Its not reliable. Its understaffed I am sure.

I have had multiple bad experiences that this location. Unfriendly employees, Tried to order breakfast and the coffee today… Well, they weren’t making food… Take it off of the menu then? I saw Two other cars pull out of the drive-through… You are losing business!

I went through the drive thru for the first time this morning 10/3/25 and had a great experience. The line was moving speedy quick, the cashier was friendly, and my iced drink was delicious. Highly recommend the new cereal and milk latte. I’m happy to have this Dunkin location in Blacksburg!

I have to say, this was the first time I have ever been close to actually returning a box of doughnuts. Half dozen, all were ice cold and tasted 1-2 days old. The best analogy I can give is if you purchased them fresh, then put them in the refrigerator for 1-2 days prior to eating them. I understand they may not make them on site, but these were close to stale.

I waited at the counter for 5 minutes before any of the 5 employees working even looked at me or spoke to me I had to tell them I needed to place an order then
The employees don’t know how to work the cash register.
They gave me the wrong drink
I had to ask for them to give me my donut
They didn’t know how to make the drinks
You honestly need to fire this entire crew and hire new ones that know what they’re doing.
Took them 15 minutes to make a dunkin wrap they were out of half the things people were trying to order.
Horrible customer service don’t recommend coming here unless you plan on spending 20 minutes waiting for a coffee and telling them how to make it. And showing them how to use the cash register
