The parts I remember after hitting a concert in town were superb. Always a good friendly crowd and the drinks are always right on. Actually, closed the place – had such a great time. Made new connections and hopefully long-term friends. This is a staple of Chico, I guess you could also say a “stable” as in a grounded watering hole.

I think this place has the most authentic “dive bar” type of feeling and atmosphere that you’ll find in downtown Chico. The crowd here is typically more mature than what you’d find elsewhere in town, the staff is quick, they oftentimes have live bands or DJ’s, and it’s a great place to chill with friends. Loved going to Duffy’s when I lived in Chico — it made Chico feel a little bit more like home when I was there.

Cute little hole in the wall. The drinks are so good but they are a little spendy. They have live music and the cover fees are cheap for how good the bands typically are. There is a smaller bar attached that is a little more laid-back and less crowded.
