We were passing through Aberdeen, hungry for breakfast and we lucked up on this gem. We ended up talking to the owners for a long time after our meal, learning about history of both the area and the restaurant. The service was fabulous, all our food was scrumptious, and I’m only sorry I’ll probably never be in the area again. I loved how they had a variety of books about the area. Thanks for my Kurt Cobain book. Thank you for being such a good hosts. There aren’t many restaurants like yours left and we sure did appreciate it.

We like Duffy’s! We found Duffy’s on a trip over to Ocean Shores and stopped in for lunch. The place is large but inviting. For us gen x folks, it feels very nostalgic like grandma’s dining room. The menu has an Irish font on it but that’s about the only think Irish about the place. The staff is friendly and quick. We overheard one of the wait staff, saying that she’d been working there for 26 years. We hope that means that they treat their employees well because the employees sure treated us well. The restaurant is comfortable and warm. Built to handle the large families who are just passing through as well as the locals who probably visit most days of the week. The menu is pretty extensive, and you can order breakfast up until 4pm. The prices when we visited seemed just a smidge high for the quality, but I feel like that is a result of our current economy but when have you ever known prices to come down after they’ve risen? We’ve been to Duffy’s a few times now and have ordered a chicken sandwich, burgers, some appetizers, breakfast and even took one of their giant cinnamon rolls to go. No big complaints about any of it except the pork chops. We advise you to not order the pork chops. If you watch our YouTube channel Braaescapades, we reiterate my wife’s experience with the chops and explain how they were very dry. My wife had to order a side of BBQ sauce in order to get them down and when we explained the situation to our server, she just smiled and told us that yeah, that’s the way the pork chops are here. Other than that, we’ve enjoyed everything else, and Duffy’s is now on our list of go to restaurants when traveling in and around the Aberdeen area. Cheers!

This place was well recommended to us. The front bar area is cool. I don’t think we will be back for the food after church anymore. It was okay but for the price? The restaurant area is like a Dennys, but the food is better at dennys and the prices are better. Also the condition of the seats and tables need an up grade. I did clean my plate and the service was good.
Just being honest. See our YouTube channel Coolest Life.

Stopped in for an unplanned Christmas dinner at 7pm. Even though they were about to close, the service was amazing. The food was awesome. My son loved the French fries and my Alfredo was delicious. Thankful they were open for the holiday and think we found our new local spot!

Such a cool place! Old time restaurant style. Loved it! Very diverse menu, excellent food, home made soup, great clam chowder. Our server was Pam and was terrific. We had prime rib and a reuben sandwich, onion ring appetizer abd baked potatoes. Everything was above par, absolutely perfect. Again, my only complaint about this place was it’s single use plastics which I hate! Metal, glass and eco friendly paper ramekins exist folks!
So other than that, everything here was perfect, rustic, family run, old times, classic, delicious and is our new favorite restaurant by a long shot. Awesome book collection in the front of the restaurant and homemade dressings also!

Sat in lounge & Tammy served us. She was the only one in there & got our drinks ordered & 2 appetizers. 20 minutes & 3 customers later, she came back to take the rest of our order apologizing for the wait. We were there 70 minutes & got our appetizers. 25 minutes later we got our food. Very slow kitchen! Portions were fairly large, although there were only 5 onion rings for $6.00! If it weren’t for Tammy being so nice, our patients could have run thin. She even gave extra refills on our iced tea because of the wait (normally only 1 free refill). Thanks, Tammy, for the excellent service! BTW, the fire door in the lounge needs to be cleared! It’s a fire hazard to have it blocked!

Duffy’s had a very tasty French Dip with a well buttered and toasted roll. The BlackBerry pie was hand made as always with a very flaky, buttery crust. Service was impeccable. It appears they even got new high rise, elongated toilets in their bathrooms. I would certainly recommend.

Our hostess and server were outstanding. The stroganoff was only OK, a bit salty, not much beef and canned mushrooms. The fish and chips were pretty good, and the side salads were very fresh.
The cinnamon roll was extra, extra large – dinner plate-size – tasty and shareable.
Very family friendly. They do have a bar.
