Stopped in because it was my daughter’s favorite when she was little. Well, 25 years later and it is still a good memory! We had the hot dog and long dog with the works, and onion rings. They were very good. Service was quick and efficient, and the dining area was clean, spacious, and well lit. Glad we stopped by!

Food is ok. Others rave about the food here, so I’ve given it a few tries now. The sandwiches are mostly bread; I always wind up picking off half the bread to try to have a balanced sandwich. The hash browns are pretty good but a bit too greasy. The fries are good. The service at this location is great – fast and friendly. Atmosphere is a typical fast food joint with sticky tables.

First time here, and I was surprised how good the burger and chicken sandwich was. Fresh and hot freshly made. We also tried the chicken nuggets and fries which were equally good. Better than Macdonalds and good alternative for a quick meal.

On September 30th 2020 at 7pm I waited for 15 minutes at the intercom for them to take my order. Then waited another 15 minutes for my food. Watched employees hanging out on there phone not doing anything! It wasn’t even busy. Then when they come outside finally after 30 minutes the girl says here’s your food with an attitude. No sorry for the wait or anything. Fries are cold and food looks awful. I will never go to Monroe Duchess ever again

Way downhill since my last visit. Rings used to be cut and breaded on site. Frozen Costco style now. Used to have great dogs. Nothing to them now. Sad!

the walk in hallway area whatever u wanna call it literally smells like musty wet booty i don’t even know how to explain it. there is clearly a mold problem and it make me sick to my stomach. also the workers aren’t trained that well but i’ll let it slide. not the wet booty smell issue, that was awful and needs fixing. bacon egg and cheese bussin tho

I grew up on eating duchess literally there was one in walking distance from my house in ansonia .and probably ate there atleast once a week for years it’s by far my favorite fast food place to eat and everything is cooked to order besides hotdogs I know they usually keep a bunch on the flat grill ready to go .but Thier menu and Thier breakfast is like home cooking just really fresh and really good .all Thier famous big D sandwiches are awesome my fav was the big D chicken Parm it was messy but it was so good and if u can finish it with fries or curly fries ur gonna b full and sadisfied so I do highly recommend to atleast giving it a try as
