Absolutely the best burek in the State of Michigan! This is small family restaurant. More like a dinner. They are serving fresh and inexpensive food from the Helm (ex Yugoslavia). I’ve been there couple of times. Always friendly staff. I recommend you try hot piece of burek (cheese or meat pie) along with glass of cold plain yogurt. My favorite.

They no longer offer a menu of food choices- it’s Burek or pleskavice which in my opinion are both good options. Others may disagree. My American co-workers we’re split opinions- two liked it , one didn’t and the other liked the meat Burek and thought the cheese one was too plain and needed onions added. We will be going again.My suggestion is buy a whole pie I think you’d have more choices like spinach and cheese etc.

Great place. The best Burek Albanian in all Michigan. My Albanian friends ( Bardhi crew) directed me to this place over 10 years ago, since than, this is my must go place for a great and fresh burek. I travel 45 minutes just to get one. Great customer service. Especially the lady with glasses and red hair. Great family.

I LOVE this place! The owner is the nicest lady ever, and their meat burek is the most delicious! It just melts in your mouth! I drive all the way from Ann Arbor to get their burek and yogurt drink.

It is definitely a factoid by now that Drago’s Burek Restaurant is serving up some delicious burek. A lovely Mediterranean delicacy, super flakey, buttery and delicious pastry. I have had this at my turkish mother in-law’s house but since her passing I truly miss her kitchen magic. When I saw some fellow yelpers check in to this place and read their reviews raving their food I decided I had to visit asap.

You go here to buy Burek. Buy meat and cheese variety. Great to dip in homemade yogurt( which is sour to most but just a little bit moistens the burek and makes it tastier). Used to have a hamtramck competitor but I forgot the the name. You can get frozen bureks for home as well. The burek pie is the best macedonian dish.

God bless them! They are truly wonderful. They take time for each customer to listen and make sure that everyone leaves that place happy and with a full belly. Mr Dragu and his wife and their two daughters are wonderful people.

Really good meat pies, put a little jelly where the meat isnt and that’s delicious. There’s two items on the menu so don’t be surprised. It was the fastest that I was ever served. It literally didn’t take more than a minute before we received are food. Also it’s a very freindly place.
