This place is exactly what you’d expect and want from a local restaurant with no frills. Friendly service, dependable food and a sneaky good drink menu, including the non-alcoholic drinks. My wife and I came here for lunch. She had the Coburns burger and the Athletic Brewing Free wave non-alcoholic beer (at McKenna’s suggestion). The beer was deceptively good and the burger hit the spot. I had a salad, good portion, solid flavor. If you’re looking for an easy to enjoy, relaxed atmosphere without being pretentious, this is the place in Woodstock.

Friendly service, nice atmosphere. But why on earth you would want to complicate a new england lobster roll is beyond me. Sometimes you leave the classics alone. Less oddball ingredients and more lobster would have been fine. Also, two dollars for an extra slice of Swiss on a burger?

Host and waiter service was excellent, however we waited for forty minutes for our meal, (2 people) and place was not busy at all. When our food finally arrived the onion rings were burned and tasted as such. We sent them back and they were removed from our bill. Food was not worth the wait!

Went here for dinner with my close friends. It took an hour and a half for our food to come out. We were forced to ration our water because we weren’t given any more aside from the jug we got upon arrival. Our extreme hunger made us quite delirious and we found ourselves in a poor mood, dispite this being our only vacation all summer. Food was mid, much too expensive for the quality. The television was also not working so we had no entertainment, which was the straw that broke the camels back. One of my friends was gluten free

Had the $35 lobster roll. Tasted mostly over-buttered bun. Pretty small. Wasn’t anywhere as good as a lobster roll at a hotdog stand poolside in quechee. Had to get up and find service both times I wanted an iced tea refilled. My brother who lives nearby confirmed my impression that this is a place to avoid.

3.5 rounded up. Popped in for a late lunch while in the area. Super fun atmosphere. My partner and i both got sandwiches. I got the Pesto Portabella Panini and my partner got the Caprese Panini. The sandwiches were good, but i thought they were a little on the pricy side for what they were. We substituted truffle fries as our side (there was an up charge for this but worth it.) Waitress was a little preoccupied during our visit. We were one of 3 tables there and i didn’t feel the service was on par, but we didn’t need anything so it was fine. Overall it was a pleasant dining experience, but a little pricey for what it actually is.

Visit for late lunch. Very quiet. Only three tables were filled and one outside. We had the chilled tomato soup and Grilled Caprese Panini and Breaded Shrimp. Food was very good. Service was ok. Definitely worth the visit and would go back again.

Great pub. Nice atmosphere and right in the center of Woodstock. As a bonus, they have many gluten free food choices including rolls AND a gluten free beer choice (bottle)! We stop here every time we are in Woodstock, VT.

Once we were seated we waited 15 minutes for someone to come over and take our drink order. We then waited another 45 minutes for our food. The food quality was definitely sub par. The burger was $18 for a frozen patty, they barely put on onions on it and the fries were just your regular Oneida frozen fries you get from the grocery store. Not impressed at all. Wish we had a better experience.

Great place in Woodstock for reasonably priced tavern/pub food. Delicious salad and generous lobster roll! Enjoyed!
