Not traditional style doubles at all but still a cute spot to check out. If you are missing home as a Caribbean person, just the sight/smell of this place could make you feel good after realizing you are so far out on the island of LI. Nothing like it nearby that I know of so I’m happy they are keeping the West Indian vibe alive here. Staff we encountered weren’t the most knowledgeable about the culture or too friendly but the place seems to run itself regardless. Would have been nice to have a convo with someone who was willing tell us about the origins of its rare and bold presence in Amagansett. Flavors are familiar I would say. I’m sure it’s because they serve a certain demographic locally, including tourists stopping in as well, but this is not to be mistaken for what we know to be real doubles. Not bad. Cool experience overall.

I’ve tried curries they are good but the fried chicken sandwich was a total disappointment. Chewy and dry. The oil must’ve been old. They can do better obviously.

Really delicious food at the mini boutique mall in Amagansett. If you’re looking for something flavorful and non-American in this little strip, this should be your stop.
The Chickpea Roti was spiced great and didn’t have any dry chickpeas. Hot sauce was a must. It’s in burrito form so it may get messy.
The Freddie Bowl was also good. I found the pumpkin to be a bit too sweet. If sweet and savory is your thing, this is your order.
Will come back. Probably one of the only non-white restaurants / menus in a 10 mile radius

Definitely order the Doubles! I am so happy to drive east and be able to still find delicious Caribbean cuisine. Small inside dining area but the outside seating will be beautiful in the summer.

This review only has to do with the doubles. I was looking for a place to eat, as I was leaving Montauk and saw the restaurant doubles. The reason I had to stop in here is that I have a house in Trinidad and could not believe there were doubles (Trinidadian street food) at the end of Long Island. I must say, I was skeptical, but the doubles was really excellent. There was flavored bara which also had a great crisp to it. The Chana was really tasty and the sauces really great.
If you have never had Trinidadian food, let alone Trinidadian street food, you really should try this !

As a Trini, the doubles was good, a little bit too much channa, should only have channa on one side so you could enjoy the condiments as well. Rather expensive for doubles but if they going to serve you that much channa, it still doesn’t add up. $12 per doubles, any West Indian would know that is too much. It was tasty, don’t get me wrong. Btw still trying to understand how 3 Americans brought Doubles to Amagansett without having gone to the home of Doubles-Trinidad, lol

YUM! I only tried the fish roti but it was just perfect. The perfect size, and perfect ratio of protein and potatoes. The seasoning was just right and it didn’t feel heavy after eating. Delicious!

Everything I tried was awesome and the location itself is super charming. Also their branding is SUPERB–it’s silly but I’m a stickler about design/marketing, especially for food and beverage. Went in for a salad (and a smoothie and a double and chicken strips and french fries) left with all that and two hats and a tote bag.
Next time I am going to dine in because the plaza is super chill.

Absolutely delicious! Grabbed dinner here at about 6:30 on a Sunday, counter service and only waited 15 minutes for the food to come out. Beautiful picnic table areas to hang out. Fried Chicken Sandwich was amazing. My kiddo loved the cheeseburger kids option, the fries portion is huge, and my vegetarian husband liked the chickpea roti. Will definitely be back to try more menu items. Plus the ice cream in the back is crazy good and open late.
