Just used Dotty’s Gourmet Kitchen for a family event. Luckily Marilyn could fit us in as we called one week before the event. We picked up the food and all was prepared, packed and ready on time. Marilyn helped us choose the menu for an afternoon open house for 35 guests. Everyone raved about the sandwiches and salads. The chicken fingers were the best and the spring salad with fresh fruit, walnuts, etc. was outstanding. Marilyn and her staff made it easy and stress free. Thanks so much!!

After work on Friday it was too hot to cook. I stopped in to Dotty’s and purchased chicken cutlets, a crab cake, zucchini casserole, Brussels sprouts, and a crab quiche. Needless to say I had enough dinner for 3 nights. My 12 year old/picky eater gobbled up 2 chicken cutlets. The crab cakes were so delicious and fresh. The zucchini casserole was so light and rich at the same time, very satisfying. My absolute fav was the crab quiche. I really can’t say enough about it. The flavors were so well balanced and very little sodium but tons of flavor and very satisfying. It hit all my spots! I am going back there over and over

Stopped in for the first time to get an idea for dinner. Let me tell you the food case was filled with fresh, yummy choices. There were homemade soups and even a few choices for larger families. I ordered the roast beef to have hot roast beef sammies. I bought a pound of the beef that clearly was just sliced off the roast (15.99) they give you the gravy and 3 rolls. That amount made 3 very hearty , big appetite sandwiches. The beef was tender and delicious while the homemade gravy was full of flavor and just the right thickness to cling to the meat. Next. I bought a container of hoagie dip! Not what I usually get around here…when they food process the heck out of it. No, this was hearty chunks of meats, cheeses, tomatoe…everything but the roll. It tasted fabulous and cost me 7 dollars. The food was great…we can’t wait to try other options now! That chicken and mushroom? Yeah, that’s next!

crab cakes are out of this world! this isnt a typical market with the usual foods of delco. they do things like shrimp salad, shepherds pie, short ribs, poached salmon and a ton of other things i have to go into philly just to find. all in all, refreshing as ever with the different style and selection of food to get.
