Looking Up Garage Doors
We are a small local business in Media, PA and we were looking for a place to cater our company Christmas party. We stumbled upon Dotty’s and saw that they have won Best of Delco the last three years. We love to support other local businesses. I called and spoke with a kind woman who was personable and knowledgeable. She immediately agreed to adding us to their schedule. We walked through the menu and picked everything out, she even made recommendations which was helpful. The ordering process was straight forward and seamless. Fast forward to our event date, the food was delivered hot and fresh and they went out of their way to correct a very minor issue without us even noticing or asking. I have been coordinating our company parties for several years and never have I heard “Wow this is so good” or “This food is delicious” so many times from this team and their families. I must note the brownies were strongly recommended and now we know why! They were a hit and plenty of them to go around. Some of the adults even snuck some home they were that good!

Stopped in on a cold night – roasted Brussel sprouts, chicken cutlets, lasagna roll ups (vegetarian w/spinach & artichoke). Gotta say, this is as good as it gets. Homemade food done right – mama’s proud. No kidding, get yourself over there. The real deal. Cannot wait to stock up on soups. Greg was great & Marilyn’s the best.

Marilyn and her team are amazing! I can’t even count how many times this wonderful place has saved me for family drop-ins or planned parties. You can’t go wrong. Everything is so delicious and everyone in there has a special heart for the community. Marilyn is always apart of my Thanksgiving parties through the catered meals. My family always asks if this is from Dotty’s Kitchen—sure is. Thank you for all of the memories I was able to gain by having delicious food provided for my family vs how I always missed out from being tied to the kitchen. I’ve ran in like a crazy person to get (last minute) eggplant parms since my dad told me last minute of his new vegetable diet!! I can’t be anymore grateful! After reading all the great reviews about Dotty’s, we decided to stop in and grab a couple of the much-acclaimed chicken croquettes for dinner.
With the patiently thorough and friendly help of Kel at the counter, after seeing the abundance of delicious looking options, we walked out with much more than the croquettes.
We just had the croquettes and mashed potatoes for dinner. They were perfect. Fresh, moist, full of flavorful chicken deliciousness. The mashed potatoes were also excellent. They both lived up to the overwhelming hype!
PS- We didn’t see it until we were leaving, but if you pick up beer at the place next store, Dotty’s gives you 10% off.
We can’t wait to try the rest!!

Have been here many times. Got the Thanksgiving Dinner to go, absolutely fantastic and cheaper than what you could do at home. Stuffing was fabulous. Marilyn’s soups are beyond this world, as are her desserts. Brownies and caramel apple cheesecake bars are to die for. Have been to several parties that she has catered. Everything is fresh and high quality. Only reason atmosphere is 3-stars is because it is all to-go at the store.

After work on Friday it was too hot to cook. I stopped in to Dotty’s and purchased chicken cutlets, a crab cake, zucchini casserole, Brussels sprouts, and a crab quiche. Needless to say I had enough dinner for 3 nights. My 12 year old/picky eater gobbled up 2 chicken cutlets. The crab cakes were so delicious and fresh. The zucchini casserole was so light and rich at the same time, very satisfying. My absolute fav was the crab quiche. I really can’t say enough about it. The flavors were so well balanced and very little sodium but tons of flavor and very satisfying. It hit all my spots! I am going back there over and over

Marilyn went above and beyond to make a delivery happen for my friends with a newborn. At a great price, the quality of food is delicious! And she even delivered helping me out immensely. The hoagies are some of the best in the area- the cutlets delicious, delicious salmon, crab cakes, you name it. We have ordered from her as a family a few times and will continue to do so! Ordered the poached salmon platter for Christmas Eve. It was absolutely the star of our dinner. Delicious with a beautiful presentation and a fabulous cucumber dill sauce. Service was perfect and carried it to our car. Highly recommend Dotty’s.
