We were in the area and decided to stop here for lunch. Atmosphere was welcoming and staff was very friendly. We ordered Gobi Manchurian, Mysore Dosa, Paneer Tikka Masala, Wheat Chapati and Garlic Naan. Food was great, we absolutely loved the taste. Highly recommend!

I had a very disappointing experience here. It took almost 45 minutes just to get one dosa, which is far too long. I also ordered kadai chicken, and the taste was very average. It was too oily and didn’t feel fresh.
I had ordered butter naan and garlic naan, but what they served were not naans at all. These were simple wheat rotis dressed as naan, which was a lie. They just added a bit of butter and some coriander on top. The garlic naan didn’t even taste like garlic. Even then, I was still charged the full naan price, which felt very unfair.
The restaurant also seemed very short-staffed. The two servers were running around like it was an ER, trying to handle everything by themselves. The owner really needs to hire more people instead of putting all the work on just two staff members, because it hurts the quality of service.
Overall, the service was slow, the food quality was poor, and I did not receive what I paid for. I would not recommend this place based on my experience.

It’s hard really to emphasize how incredible this food is! I’ve eaten loads of Indian food and this blows everything else out of the water. Their menu is huge and we ordered way more than we could eat to try different things. Each dish had flavors I have never experienced before. The food quality is also so high. This is not your run of the mill tikla masala express Indian food. This is a serious flavor experience that you owe it to yourself to try. I’m hard to impress at all and this place left me flabbergasted.

My husband and I came to Dosa Place for our date night this last weekend. We decided to make this an (at least) monthly destination! The food is truly “a treasure trove of flavors,” as the website says… It was incredibly delicious, and they let us know it is made fresh, daily. We could tell… it was mouth-wateringly delectable. We were greeted with such kindness, given thorough explanation on the menu, as well as fantastic recommendations. We tried four different items from the menu: Paneer Tikka Fries, Spring Masala Dosa, Malabar Chicken Curry, & shared a delicious Kerala Porotta… they were all fantastic. Each had such a distinct myriad of flavor and freshness that was so satisfying. Try the Paneer Tikka Fries! I can’t wait to go back for those alone! And to try even more amazing items. Dosa Place quickly filled up that evening, and we ate quite late! It was clean, friendly, and a delightful all-around experience. This restaurant has items that no other Indian food restaurant has in the valley. I also enjoyed the cultural insight into the Kerala region that it inspired me to read about after having such a terrific experience here. We couldn’t say enough good about this delightfully scrumptious place…. make it a regular for you and your families, work associates, etc. You won’t be disappointed! I have a lunch date with some coworkers in the coming weeks, and can’t wait to recommend this place to them and have them enjoy it too. We were also excited to see they just started a lunch buffet between 11:30 and 2:30 each week. We will be back, and I will keep spreading the word… Dosa Place is a hidden gem in Phoenix! Best Kerala-style dosa spot in Arizona! The dosas were perfectly crisp and flavorful, with authentic chutneys and delicious sambar. Truly tasted like home. Friendly service and great experience. Highly recommend! We had Chicken curry, Pompano Fish Curry, with iddiyappam and malabbar paratha.

I visited this restaurant today for lunch with my family, and it was an amazing experience! We ordered several dishes — Chicken Kizhi Parotta, Chicken Tikka Fries, and some Kerala delights that are unique to this place. The Fish Nirvana and Butter Chicken Nirvana were absolutely outstanding — full of authentic flavors and perfectly cooked.
The service was exceptional — the staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The chefs here are truly talented and passionate, and it shows in every dish they prepare.
I can honestly say this is the best place to enjoy authentic Indian food. Every Indian food lover should definitely visit this place — you won’t be disappointed!

Let me start with the bad, the service is very slow, the tables are sticky and they are terribly understaffed.
But the food is amazingly good. It’s authentic South Indian food. The menu is huge and they may not have everything listed everyday. I recommend any of the Dosa or the biryani. The food is a little spicy so be sure to ask of the less spicy version if you are not used to the spices.

Hands down, best Indian food I have ever had. The samosa was 10/10, the malabar chicken curry was incredible, perfect level of medium spiciness. Atmosphere was very nice and the service was prompt and attentive. Will be my go to Indian place to take friends and family!
