Social Profile:

Dosa Kitchen food truck has been offering the Authentic Dosa Experience since 2014. Fans travel from Boston and beyond to Brattleboro for what they call “the best dosas in the USA.” The dosa, South India’s version of the crepe, has a seductively sour, tangy flavor, and airy, crisp texture. It’s gluten-free, vegan, and one of HuffPost’s “10 Foods to Try Before You Die.” Dosa Kitchen’s original Dosa Batter is produced on the premises and is available at the factory store behind the food truck and stores throughout New England.

The most pleasant surprise on our way through Vermont. Great little food truck with something for vegans and meat eaters alike. We got the beef keema dosa which came yogurt, a side of curry and a huge dosa. The keema portion was enough for one person (about a cup-full) so if you’re hungry I would suggest your own. All very tasty and well flavored though. We also got a mango lassi which was so so good, I would highly recommend it.

Amazing food! We loved the dosas and the sambar, and the gluten-free person in our group really appreciated that they could order anything on the menu. Picnic tables were great for eating outside, with some in the shade and some in the sun. And even though it’s a food truck, they also have a restroom which is nice if you’re traveling up or down 91 on a road trip like we were. Highly recommend!

We were in Vermont for a wedding and this was listed as one of the restaurants to try in the area. We loved the food- the flavors were authentic. They also had Kanji which is an Indian pro-biotic drink that is rarely served in restaurants. My husband said it tasted like what he used to have. The owners were friendly and their story is amazing. Worth a visit.

Nash is simply a magician…be it the batter, the crispiness of the dosa, the tempering of the masalas, the chutney, the sambar, you name it and he has it spot on! It is unbelievable to find a spot of this kind, offering true south indian soul food, in rural Vermont. We were missing good south indian food since we moved up to NH but not anymore. Make sure you don’t miss this. They are such a great team to chat with and connect! And yes, dog friendly location too which is a plus…going back for sure 🙂

Amazing flavors. Their gunpowder dosa is so good! We went on this rainy 4th of July and since we had a sleeping baby, decided to eat in the car. The staff provided a nice bag to cover the food as I walked each dosa to the car. They let us keep the bag too!

We went to the food truck location at Thomas Hall in Brattleboro and it is an amazingly delicious local spot. I will dream about their food until the next time I visit Vermont! The Masala dosa was so delicious, and the sambar was so flavorful that we ordered a second round to-go! The owners are so sweet, welcoming, and accommodating 🙂

Such an amazing Indian food cart that is essentially non existent outside of NYC. You’ll be hard pressed to find anything like this in New England. They have lots of vegetarian and vegan options as well with the menu being completely gluten free, I would definitely recommend stopping by and trying them out!
