This is a Folsom favorite. Great Mexican food! Very Healthy composition. No MSG.
Very generous portions. Extremely reasonable pricing. The staff couldn’t be more attentive. Johnny the store manager watches over the whole process from kitchen to table.
Reading this you would think I must own the place. I wish I did! But eating there will have to be sufficient.

The portion sizes are way smaller than we are used to. My husband & I were once regulars at the Citrus Heights location so when we saw this one was new off E.Bidwell we thought we would try it. Typically, we only finish half our burritos then save the other half for take home leftovers. However, we both cleared our plates with ease this time. The chicken was fairly bland with the kids’ meal, but yummy in the burritos my husband & I ordered (probably due to the salsa/sauce in them). The service was excellent, the server who helped us at register was patient with our kids & quick to clear our dirty dishes as we finished eating. Our two burritos & two kids’ meals were under $40 so it was still well worth it. We will definitely return for another try next time we are in the area.
*there is no changing table in the ladies’ restroom & no paper towels only air dryer. However, no elbow/foot option for opening the door so that was a bummer having to use a potentially dirty door handle after just washing hands clean. They should consider installing an elbow or foot opener option to the bathroom doors so customers can keep their hands clean as they leave the restroom.

Not sure what happened to my first review, but here’s an update.

I had the ranchero burrito with a side of habanero salsa and the creamy green salsa.

Food has gotten better since this location opened. However, there is still a distinct lack of flavor in both food and salsas. They are either watering down the sauces or just barely using salt.
Still recommend the Folsom Blvd location.

Dos Coyotes is always a great place to go for a burrito. I always get the border burrito with chicken, black beans, sour cream, avocado and hot salsa. The additional salsas on the salsa bar are great as well. This is a new location and the service was great as always.

We have been enjoying Dos Coyotes for years at the Red Bull Center. Tried their new location. Both our burritos were small with about 2/3 of the normal filling we are used to receiving. I see another customer also commenting on the small portions although our Tre Tacos seemed fine. My Mahi Mahi burrito only had the Mahi in the bottom quarter of the burrito and there was very little of it. We were very disappointed. We’ll either go back to the Red Bull Center location or to our other go to Mexican restaurant, La Fiesta.

Excellent food, excellent service. Don’t listen to the strange negative reviews. I LOVE dos Coyotes, have frequented many of their locations as long as I can remember. This is a smaller location for sure, and even I was curious if it would maintain the same level of service/quality/experience as the larger established locations… I can say that if anything, the quality exceeds that of the others.

And the staff are always so dang nice, warm smiles and willingness to entertain my questions about seasonal menu items.

Thanks for being a staple in my diet

Food taste is almost like or better than other locations. Salsa bar is stocked all the time. Location is nice.

There is room for improvement in service and being attentive to customers than just chit chatting at the counter. Couple of folks are really good and hopefully others can learn from them.
Glad to see this location open.

Food was okay, but just not worth the ineptitude and attitude. I didn’t need the condescending 3 minute preamble by the power-tripping manager 40 years younger than me about how they have to charge for an extra ounce of dressing for my salad but she will make an exception this time. Well there won’t be any next time.

Wow!, if you’re looking for a delicious, fresh, South of the Border dining experience, this is the place! Fresh ingredients, cooked to order and so much flavor! We ordered the grilled fish tacos, one mahi-mahi, one grilled salmon, amazing! Also had the seasonal chicken sandwich special, bacon, green pepper jelly, chicken breast, greens, Excellent!☆☆☆☆☆

I ordered shrimp fajita and south west chicken burrito. Every item in fajita was burned, too spicy, and too salty. The worse fajita I ever had in my entire life. I had to threw half of of the fajita.
South west burrito was mostly full of chicken and not much else, and salty.
The worst food I’ve had in Dos Coyote.
