Place was packed! Waiting line long. To-Gonorders were stacking up at the checkout stand. Good sign! Service was attentive despite every table full and a very large group (30) ordering about the same time as us. My opinion is that the taste and seasoning of all Mexican food is subjective. We all have our preferences. But in this case the chimichangas were excellent. The steak fajitas bland lacking any seasoning. The chicken/ cheese quesadillas okay. The kids chicken nuggets and fries typical. The steak burritos were good. VERY SMALL portions for the price for queso and guacamole. Not really appetizers for more than one person…
If you’re a far west sider with limited Mexican choices for dinner, you have a decent place here. But I’m not sure that Dos Amigos stands up to Felipe’s, Abuelo’s, or even On the Border, (meh)…

Went on their first day open and had the shrimp chimichanga and my son the chicken tenders.
The shrimp actually had flavor and you could tell they grilled it instead of just microwaving it. Cheese sauce was flavorful and not salty like some other places. Mexican rice had a slight kick to it that wasn’t overpowering.
My son’s chicken tenders were fried well, expected them to come out dry, but they were moist!
Place is clean and for the very first day, service was great and quick! Worth it to come to the Goddard area!

Fantastic new place in Goddard. They didn’t have much to work with building wise, but still managed to create a nice environment. The food came out quickly, and all 4 dishes were amazing. We’ll be back…often.

Came in for lunch on a Sunday and were promptly seated by a very friendly hostess. Server was very friendly and the food was incredible. My wife had the Xavier Tacos and you get 3 big ones loaded with flavor. I got the Tilapia with mixed veggies and shrimp and it was all cooked and seasoned perfectly. Amazing portions for what you pay. This is a little gem in Goddard! Give them a chance.

Ordered a bean burrito, chalupa and cheese quesadilla. I Was not a fan of the beans, they were whole pinto beans and just spilling out of the tortilla. The burrito was pretty thin. Beware that the “Chalupa” is not a fried burrito, it’s actually a tostada on soggy corn chips. They need to rename it to tostada. I really enjoyed the salsa, but all 3 baskets of chips we received were all broken or were folded in half. My son’s soft taco was also very soggy. It’ll be awhile before I go back.

First time here. I ordered a combo that was one taco and two enchiladas. The taco meat was completely bland. No taco seasoning, not even salt or pepper. But the enchiladas were good. The service was great. And the food came out fast. I will definitely try again.

One of my favorite places in the Wichita area. Reminds me of Phoenix, authentic, well priced and absolutely delicious. The salsa is just like a restaurant i used to go to and fills me with great joy every time I get the treat of having it. The staff is wonderful and friendly as well. Highly recommend.

First time trying this place out and I was very impressed! I had grilled chicken with peppers, onion and cheese sauce over the top. Very flavorful! My partner got a burrito and taco..the hamburger on those were very bland, but that’s about how every Mexican spot is in my opinion. He really enjoyed his chili relleno. I will definitely be back.

Usually would say support local. We have a been going here once a week or so since they have opened but tonight on a Saturday night at 7pm with 5 tables filled we had the worst service possible. Waited about 15 minutes before anyone came. Other tables being served but we were being skipped. Food was decent but the service was not. Finally got someone to our table and ordered. Some drinks were served but not all. Food came. Kids drinks brought but no straws for kids cups. Had to get another waiters attention to ask for straws. Waiter didn’t return until food was almost gone and drinks were empty. Let me say again only 4 to 6 tables were filled in the entire restaurant. Waiter sat at booth across restaurant and never returned. Went to pay and told them food was good but service was very bad tonight and the only response was “I’m sorry that will be $60” didn’t even ask what had happened. Like I said would much rather spend local but now will go to restaurants in Wichita over this one. Drive the extra 10 minutes for better service.

Our food was good. Service was friendly. The staff did well in spite of having just opened to the public.
