This passed Sunday my husband and I had our dream baby shower at Brown Iron. People thought I was weird and really cool for choosing this location for a baby shower and it was perfect! Our baby journey has a long story, but i knew we had a large group of ppl and we like food and craft beer. If there was any hiccups they were fixed so fast or I didn’t even know about them. The food was a brunch style, we changed a few menu things around and EVERYONE was trying to get leftovers. Erin was our coordinator and she’s amazing! Erin has the best energy all the time, which made me feel great and relaxed in all my decision making. The rest of the staff was on point. Knowing my family and friends we are a easy going group and having over 130 people. The staff was working with everyone no problems at all. Our dream baby shower was amazing and wish it didn’t end. Huge thank you to Erin and the rest of the staff making a day we never thought could happen be one of the best days of our lives!

Our waiter katie was awesome. She made our first visit absolutely delightful. The atmosphere is very family friendly and food was phenomenal. The kitchen was right on things with quality an speed of food. Highly recommend this little hidden gem for great food an service. When you go (and you should DEFINITELY go) ask for Aram! The absolute best service to go with some of the best BBQ I’ve had in a while! Your tastebuds are gonna thank you for this one and so will your wallet! Lunch specials and Happy Hour deals! Absolutely must try the burnt ends then get the Whisky BBQ Burger which is topped with’em! Double your pleasure, double your fun and get to Brown Iron Brewhouse!

3/2/26 I wanted a nice casual place to have a family dinner after my husband passed away. I called Brown Iron Brewhouse and from the moment I spoke with event coordinator Erin to the end of the dinner, everything was perfect. We had approximately 25 family members, they had a nice private room we were able to use. The food was excellent and the gluten free options for the members of the family who can’t have gluten were perfect. If I could give this restaurant higher stars I would! If you haven’t been there, definitely go!

I want to start by saying if I could give this place 0 stars, I would. But I can’t, so 1 star will have to do. I recently heard good things about this place, and I do see good reviews on here, so I am curious as to what happened tonight that has gone differently for others.
I placed my order via phone, and went to pick it up. When my girlfriend and I asked for the food, we asked if there was sauce with it, to which both hosts adamantly reassured that there was, and with a friendly attitude said that if there was not, just to come right back. My problem is not with them, but whoever is in the kitchen, and running the show. Your expo person shouldn’t be missing something as basic as sauce. But, to my dismay, none of the boxes included sauce. So of course, I came back in. When I inquired with the hosts about what kind of sauce you serve, neither seemed to know, and they just pulled them all up on the POS and turned the screen for me. At this point, level of service was NOT high. But, I persisted. I chose several sauces and asked if they serve lemonade, as my gf wanted one. Once again, neither host seemed to know the answer. It concerns me that this basic knowledge escapes them, and I again blame whoever is in charge.
I asked to speak to the manager. I think she suspected what was coming. I explained the situation to her, including my confusion at the lack of basic knowledge of the hosts. They are the first people your guests see! She did not take accountability at all, and rather said that she would give them another menu test. I told her they needed more support from her.
On to the food. What I ordered? Pulled pork and chicken, with mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, beans, and a Ceasar salad as the sides. I need to express than this food was edible, but not much more than that. Dry, barely warm, and more than likely pulled from a tray sitting under a warming lamp somewhere. The Mac and cheese had Kraft cheese shreds on top, not even melted!
Do not come here. You will find it underwhelming and not worth the cost. And if you do come here, I hope it’s better when you do.

My sister hosted a beautiful baby shower for her son and daughter‑in‑law at the Brown Iron, Royal Oak location, and it truly couldn’t have been more special. Erin, the event coordinator, was incredible from beginning to end—so supportive, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in making the day perfect. The entire serving team and Jesse, the GM, were just as wonderful: attentive, kind, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Their care and professionalism made the celebration feel effortless and memorable. I would wholeheartedly recommend them for any event. Thank you again, Erin and team!

Great place for us to stop for an impromptu lunch. Had the whiskey brisket burger with fresh, crisp onion rings and followed us with a brownie sundae. This was split between my wife and I. Tells you that meals are adequate for sharing if desired. Service was impeccable and always nice to be greeted by smiling faces and people that enjoy their jobs. Great prices in an exceptionally clean facility. Certainly a return trip is warranted soon.

We had the baby shower for my son and daughter in law at the Royal Oak location. Erin was our event coordinator and from start to finish was amazing. She was so supportive and engaged with the whole process. The team of servers were amazing and so attentive and helpful. I would definitely recommend them for any events. Thank you Erin and team!
