On our way through Edna, we decided to go on a donut tour to find the best donut place. We visited the 3 donut shops in town and purchased the same 3 donuts at each establishment (donut holes, glazed old fashioned & apple fritter). Donut Palace was the winner! Their flavors and “airiness” of their donuts was delightful. They did not win for friendliness however … so come for the quality of food not the quality of service.

On a road trip we came across this place by accident. We got the sausage breakfast sandwich. Very good. We also got a chocolate and blueberry cake donut. They were soooo delicious!!!! I was so sad I only got one of each because I wanted more. We have noted this spot for the future so we can make a stop. Very yummy! No pics because we scarfed it all down!

It was ok. The lady was in there by herself and running around everywhere. Our kolaches were room temperature, at best. If she had some help, it may have gone smoother.

Run this place is horrible .very unhealthy, the crescents tasted funny .On top of that they where not going to let me purchase if did not spend five dollars using my debit card.I told them forget it i’m going to Mcdonalds they about fell to there knees begging..Ha ha Donut place lesson learned no one always wants more than $5 in donuts and the food has a lot to be desired..one star is to many…save your money go to heb out of town
