We are an independent pizzeria , established in 2006. Using local vendors for our supplies, we are proud of our hand tossed dough & scratch made meatballs. Our menu items also include pasta dinners, salads, hoagies, calzones, and kids meals. Open 7 days a week, we offer both daily specials and lunch specials. Call ahead to take out or eat in ~ we have seating for 30 that includes a game room with fun arcade games and vending machines. BYOB too. Located across from South Park golf course. We look forward to serving you! Please note we take last order 1/2 hour prior to closing time ~

Donte’s always delivers a solid, cheesy, delicious pizza. One of the few places that you don’t need to order extra cheese because they hook it up with a nice, high quality cheese. Also, their sauce is perfect. Nice and sweet. It’s really tough to find a better tasting sauce in Pittsburgh if you prefer a sweet gravy. I appreciate their consistency and friendly staff. Look forward to my next trip!

We ordered takeout pizza —the supreme/combo and a chicken bacon ranch. The supreme was loaded with high quality toppings to the point that it required two hands to eat.
As someone who lives in the Midwest where CBR was practically invented, the other pizza was good but lacked flavor. A quick drizzle of ranch across it could fix this. It wouldn’t stop me from reordering, but I’d recommend a different pizza.
Otherwise the dough and crust was delicious, (although a little undercooked from so many toppings but I count that as a good thing).

This is some of the best pizza in Pittsburgh. The dough is sweet (possibly made with cream soda?) and light making for a nice chew when baked. The crust is crunchy outside with a pleasing, bready, warm inside. The sauce is a bit sweet as well and they put a good amount of cheese on the pie. This is critical! So many pizza places fail to put enough cheese on the pie. I’ve never had a bad slice from here and the staff are always friendly, polite and quick; I stop here regularly (3-5 visits per month) so this consistency is amazing. Also a great place to host a kid party. There’s a side room for just that thing with several games available for the kids or the kids inside grownups.

Solid pizza near South Park. We tried a regular pepperoni pie, and a white pie (and the staff was kind enough to put pickles on several slices of the white pie because I’d expressed interest in the Pickle Pie but didn’t want to commit to a full pie – very nice of them!). Service was great. Totally a casual pizza place you can have a good slice or pie at, or take your pizza to the park nearby and enjoy.

Perfect place to buy a slice for $2.50 and watch some sports on a TV while you wait for your slice!!! There’s true substance to their pie, and the slice doesn’t flop over when holding it, I’ll grab another slice from here if I’m nearby!

We never ordered here and after reading the reviews we figured we would give it a try! The pizza was great right down to the sauce, cheese and dough. I don’t know if the cheese slid off or part of the pie was not well dressed with cheese but it didn’t detract from the pizza. Things happen. All in all, we will order again!
