The truth is, you don’t become a Louisiana favorite just by putting the word “authentic” on your sign. When you’ve served Cajun meals as long as we have, you learn the difference between real food and a bland imitation, and our guests know it too. Grilled, fried or on ice–there’s time cooked into every dish and time spent on every home cooked recipe, so that every aroma, every bite, every sip and every gathering is memorable. We’ve spent more than 80 years creating a recipe for something much greater than a place for a lunch break or night out. It’s a place to share (or keep the whole plate to yourself), a place where you always have a seat ready at the table and a place where you’re always part of the family.
Relaxed destination offering Southern classics like seafood gumbo, as well as grilled meat.

The waitress was top shelf! Absolutely a gem with a tall task. She did her best to have everyone served at the same time and no ones to be cold! Our drinks were full (no alcohol).
The food – flavors, outstanding! Size, very large.
Only complaint would be some of the food was burnt… I think it happened only trying to get everything served at the same time. … still took away from the flavor.
The food and service is far superior to what to the knock off brand we have in Watson.
Thank you for being amazing!!!
And I’ll tell y’all, the servers are just lovely.
They have that southern twang that just adds to the lovely atmosphere. Shoutout to my sweet waitress Sara and that lovely young man Chris that bussed my table.
That 1/2 and 1/2 combo with the crawfish bisque and half a poboy is just heavenly I almost got myself some seconds. Oh, and don’t even get me started on that “jacked up” bread for an appetizer.
Great food + great people = Dons
