But into an oxtail that was really tangy and sour. Im writing this thirty minutes later and my tongue and roof of my mouth are still burning despite drinking water. I looked below and there was mold in my food. Growing directly on the bone. The ones below were ice cold like they came from the refrigerator. I took my food to the window and I said hey, the plantains are also too hard to even. Bite through. I asked the manager on shift if the food was pre-cooked and she refused to answer. She kept repeating ‘ we never have a problem with ‘oxtails’! I took the bone so I can file a complaint with the health department. DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE!

Very disappointed I came there Monday at 1:30 PM. The slimmer lady who was fixing food was very disrespectful. I told her I did not want my jerk chicken cut. She cut it also she told me she did not hear me and had a very nasty attitude also did not wanna give me any onions And the jerk chicken she gave me did not have any meats on it.

Staff was nice, I tasted the stew peas prior to purchasing and thank goodness I did because it was very salty so I ended up getting the curry chicken. It was just ok. I was disappointed that it didn’t have any Irish potatoes in it. Also I was a charged an extra $2 for steam veg and I had to say something cause she was giving me a very small amount. I’m gonna try them again, maybe they we’re having an off day.

I arrived at the restaurant at 10:15 to which I proceeded to try to open the door because on the door it stated that it closed at 11 and prior to me arriving I checked on Google and it stated it close at 11 but the door was locked. There was a lady sitting inside There was a lady sitting inside. That saw me pull the door to which she completely ignored me as If I wasn’t there. all i’m Saying is If the store closes at 10 change it on the door and on Google That way we know. Don’t say it’s close at 11 and I when people show up at 10:15, Which isn’t even that late, You Guys proceded to look at us as if we’re doing something wrong.

These folks read my order back to me correctly as if it’s actually going to be accurate when I get to the window. I get to the window, check my bag, only to see that they’ve clearly forgotten the plantains on my order. Needless to say, I should have just let them forget the entire order and asked for my money back, bc I’m pretty sure plantains aren’t supposed to be jet black with the stiffest macaroni and cheese I’ve ever seen in my entire life! I shouldn’t be able to pick up the entire serving of macaroni with one plastic fork.

The only Donnas restaurant that I go to. Love the portion size the ladies there give me and I absolutely love the fact they use the scotch bonnet peppers on almost every meal. Absolutely my go to spot for in expensive Jamaican meal
