The street corn was too salty but we had fun seeing the ai robot. The food was ok but not worth the prices in my opinion. Very nice service and atmosphere. Also they have a dart board that you can’t use. Not sure why it’s there.

With all the hype from friends I thought my experience here would be different than what was actually observed. It is a bit pricey even during the lunch specials , the day I went was my birthday and I was in a party of 5. The food was okay, but I have had better at other traditional Mexican restaurants. Those independent and not chain, so I thought my experience would have been a bit different at Don Tequila’s. The was very efficient and friendly. We were seated right away.

Restaurant was not crowded at all, however we went for a late lunch at 2pm. The people who work there were very attentive and the food and margueritas were very good. We got lunch fajitas, chori pollo, and a quesadilla. We had plenty of leftovers for dinner later!

It was a 5 now it’s a 2-3 in my eyes. Not sure what happened to the old crew but nothing is the same the atmosphere and everything is different.. You used to go in and it was a happy atmosphere happy people now you go in and it’s quiet and no music…. We miss you Hector! And the other people who made the place so unique.

This is my hubby and I go to spot. The food never misses and the drinks are always on point We always enjoy ourselves here. Our faves are the Queso fundido, the pork belly and Guac, the Molcajete (hopefully I spelled it correctly), the carnitas dinner and the shrimp tacos. I Love the margaritas and my husband loves their palomas. Our fave host are Ivan, Jelly, Hector, Mike, Paloma and now added to the list Carlos. We’re here quite often as you can see. Lol But we love it!
