Friend and I enjoyed a quick Peruvian chicken lunch. My half chicken was tasty but the white meat was dry. The spicy sauce made it edible. The corn pico was great but the side salad was just a heap of romaine lettuce. My friend’s chicken chop salad was fine but served with more avocado than she wanted.

The manager on duty tonight is extremely rude has terrible customer service skills. Don’t waste your time at this location. The young lady by the name of Katie is extremely passive aggressive and is constantly projecting how she feels inside to customers, smiling, always bright energy better off going to the location, Silver Spring I will be telling my friends and my family as well. Very small portions and the lady is very argumentative.

Please stay far away from this location. The manager on duty is so rude. I asked her for her name. She said her name was Katie. I called on the phone to ask for extra onion and I told her how I can’t add it to the app because Uber Eats doesn’t allow you to add it. I’ve been a local customer for over five years and she just yelled at me through the phone and told me I should just cancel the order and I don’t have to order here anymore. It was being very disrespectful so unprofessional For words I just feel so uncomfortable, extremely polite and was listening to her and she told me that I was wrong and that Uber and I explain to her it only gives you the option to remove items. Took place at 7pm the date January 18th.
I also explained to her that I’m a regular here that often orders, catering orders for me and my team but moving forward, I will no longer be visiting this location I believe the other managers need to retrain her for customer service. I believe she is unfit for this position And lack common knowledge.

Great food! The chicken is moist and flavorful. They have lots of side options too. Even enjoyed some alfajores. Great service and our food came out quick. The only things that could use improvement: grilled veggies were getting a little soggy & sauce cups are so small it’s hard to dip your food into it. Definitely plan on coming back

Their classic pollo a la brasa Latin style is not only fast and tasty but also consistently delivers on flavor. The rice and bean, along with the fried yuca, are standouts and have quickly become our ultimate favorites. The location is convenient, and the staff is both friendly and efficient. Perfect for when you don’t feel like cooking but still want a delicious meal.

Stay away from this restaurant. First off, I live extremely close and have tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt on multiple occasions. However, after my experience with Don Pollo today, I am recommending stay away.
Today (4/29/2021 1:05pm) I went in for chicken and when I got home (1 block away) I open my container of food and was presented with UNDER-COOKED BLOODY chicken, that was sitting inside running blood juices [SEE PICTURES]! I was completely disgusted, and promptly went back to return it. Now, I’m offered a replacement meal from the cashier who initially rang me up which, of course, I decline. The cashier retrieves the manager to give me a refund. The Manager comes over, doesn’t acknowledge me in the slightest, says nothing to me and hands me a refund receipt, without making eye contact, without an apology or anything else. This type of poor customer service is intolerable and the level of food safety is apparent. There are kids who eat here and during a pandemic you should be paying extra attention to the INTERNAL temperature of your chicken. Bloody chicken can lead to many illnesses some FATAL to people with weak immune systems. I’m glad I knew the difference between uncooked chicken, but think of a KID who will just eat whats placed in front of them not knowing the difference.
The only place I recommend Don Pollo (Bethesda) to- the Montgomery County Health Department. Where I will be writing to after this review (which will hopefully help others).

The food usually here is good, but at times the food can be very bad. I ordered my food today, March 21 And a food was horrible as you seen a picture of the food was cold. They did not get my order right and the Hispanic lady that was the acting supervisor was unprofessional room over talking condescending so most likely I will not be back.

I ordered the 1/4 chicken with two sides…. I thought it was supposed to be rotisserie chicken… this is clearly FRIED chicken. The fried rice was BLAND. the beans were BLAND (they obviously wanted to get rid of the beans but not the rice.), the rice was bland lol they literally gave me a couple more baby spoonfuls than what you see in the picture (pitiful)…. the sauce was not good either. I spoke to the manager and she offered me 10% off my next meal…. if I don’t like it, why would I come back? She said if I came back she would give me a refund after asking for my order number… I offered to send her a picture… I could have even facetimed, but I went there on my lunch break and could not just up and return… it’s okay. If that’s the best you could do to make the situation better, fine. Whatever. You won’t get my money again.
