We went as a couple on Valentines day not realizing it was Valentines day! We were seated quickly in a comfortable booth. We had water and chips and salsa quickly. The salsa was very good. Our meals were large! Typical of Mexican restaurants but I’m not complaining at all. Times are tough and they are still generous. Overall it was clean, comfortable with predictable food and good service.

I had a lovely experience at Don Pedro’s. The chips and salsa also came with bean dip, all of it was perfect. The smothered, chicken chimichanga was delicious and fairly priced. I did have to add some guacamole for an extra charge, but it is worth it because it’s fantastic. The atmosphere, the art, and the service was wonderful. I visited twice in one day and am looking forward to the next time!

All in all a good experience. I did the macho number 2 combo. My date had Don’s number two combo plate. Rice and beans are superb. The chips salsa and beans that they serve were good. Warning about the salss that it was onion forward. Shredded beef and ground beef were the favorites. Carne asada was next. The chicken was a little bland and dry but still good. Our server Christopher could have been a little better. However others in the restaurant that work there helped make the difference. So I’d say teamwork makes the dream work. My feedback is to be more attentive. Do the extra little things that matter. For example when you drop off to go boxes, bring a bag to the table. When people order water, please refill them. I drink water for health reasons not to save money or save on tipping. However I would recommend this place. Despite the small shortcomings.

The atmosphere and service here were fine when I tried it for dinner while traveling. The chips and salsa were decent and the bean dip was a change of pace I wasn’t necessarily in the mood for. They have a very small vegetarian menu for a Mexican restaurant and I would say it is an extremely lazy effort. Instead of using onions and peppers like every other Mexican restaurant I have ever been to they pretty much steam a mixed vegetable bag you could get at a grocery store and put it in your burrito. Cauliflower, carrots, broccoli and CELERY. Does that sound like the filling for fajitas or a burrito to anyone? Come on, you can do better.

I’m not sure why this place is on the Dixie Direct card. It was mediocre at best. We had four different meals. Mine was nothing like the photo showed. The fish tacos were all breading, and the Menudo was awful. The waiter could see that the menudo wasn’t touched after a couple bites. But the waiter never asked how everything was, or came back to check on how the food was. Maybe he already knew we weren’t happy. The refried beans were good but could have been hotter. The white wine was good. Margherita lacked flavor. We used our $10 off coupon and will not be back. Live and learn.

Worst Mexican food ever. The place is not well ventilated and smells. We were interested in vegetarian options and were happy to see 3 different options. We ordered all three. No flavor, spice or sauce. Barely salted. It was bulk Costco frozen veggie medley heated and served. All three dishes had the same thing, and, big chunks of cheap celery!
Beans probably came from a can and plated cold! I am surprised this has high ratings here.
Taco Bell has 5x better food than this.

Wonderful group of people and I totally enjoyed our time there. The staff was amazing. We had 20+ people in our group and the waitress was very attentive. She did amazing. Thank you. I will defiantly be coming back.

I’m going to chalk this horrible experience up to lack of help. I get that businesses are suffering because of covidiots, but they need to make certain accommodations to make it work.
It took 20 minutes to get sat and the restaurant wasn’t even close to full. After they set our table up, nobody told us we could be seated. We eventually just went and sat down on our own recognizance. The hostess easily could have told us it was time.
It took 15 min to be greeted after we sat.
It took 60 min for our food to come out.
The rice was DISGUSTING, it was burnt and tasted like firewood. If this is how it is supposed to taste, then I’m not sure how it’s still on the menu. All in all the cuisine was sub par. The food looks good, but I can make mashed potatoes look like ice cream.
Our server was serving 5 other tables with a total of 33 customers. He was discombobulated. He would run to the kitchen for a single refill rather then multitasking. He was touchy and that’s a NO for me. You don’t need to put your hands on my shoulders.
Like I said, it had to be a lack of help. I can’t think of any other excuse as to why everything was horrible.
Never going back and purging Don Pedro Family Mexican restaurant from my memory.

Food was ok not what my family expected.
Service was ok they could’ve done better and food was not brought out right away meaning they took a longer time than we thought and they didn’t even give us silverware my daughter got no straw for her drink.
They didn’t come to our table to ask if we needed anything else as often as other restaurants.
We still had to wait 15 minutes to sit down.
The bathroom was a mess paper towels everywhere not in the trash can.
Had no air freshener.
Had to ask for lime fries were not cooked properly if they were “fresh” but they were still soggy.
Burger was said well done was not cooked all the way.
Barley any parking.
Server doesn’t really take care of your table.
