My California burrito was a swaddling of deliciousness. It was topped with the cheese sauce that pooled into a viscous goo on the ceramic plate. Also present were fresh slices of avocado, tender beef, & potatoes that we’re both crispy and soft.

This was our first time going to Don Patron and it will not be our last! Our server was amazing and we were greeted immediately (unlike Chuys where we sat for 15 minutes as the only customers there and were never greeted once sat). The food came out hot and fast and my goodness, the portion sizes left us with a bunch of leftovers! We never had to ask for refills. Our new favorite restaurant! (Pictured: Cheese Steak Burrito, Tamales and Steak Fajitas!)

There is so much competition in this space for this type of food. We love trying new restaurants but this experience was just lackluster at best.

Fabulous food. Probably the best Mexican location in the area. Food was very good, very fast, came out very hot. Staff was amazing and friendly… glass never got below half empty. Atmosphere was very family friendly. If you want amazing Mexican food, come to Don Patron. 10 stars.

Don Patron has excellent Mexican food. The salsa was very flavorful. I had the Patron burrito and it was very good. My wife had a Patron taco and the carnitas. They were also very good. Service was very good. If one of the other servers saw we needed something they took care of it before we could ask. I truly appreciate that. I like going to places where I know the service is very good.

I love this place, the food is always so good, staff are always nice and they have affordable prices. Happy hour is the best time to go. I’ve been going here for over a year now and still haven’t got disappointed.

Waitress got order wrong three times, we was charged a gratuity charge when it was two grownups and three kids under 12. Food wasn’t good. Waitress brought food with the plates stacked on eachother. But the bottom of the plates was touching the food. Daughter found hair in her burrito. Would not be returning. Wife order a margarita and it was a called jumbo but definitely should have been a considered a small. But it did have some kick to it.

Molcajete – I had to look it up. A Molcajete is like a Mexican stone mortar and pestle. They essentially take a cornucopia of meats (chicken, steak, carnitas, chorizo, shrimp) and saucey flavors and heat them in this big stone chalice. It comes to you bubbling hot (I wish I could show you the video) with a side plate of the usual beans, rice, guacamole, pico de galla, sour cream, etc, and tortillas. It’s twice the price as the average meal on the menu and so much food that I assume it’s meant to be shared. I seriously don’t know why more reviewers aren’t talking about this, it’s amazing! And for someone trying to cut back on carbs, it’s perfect; I just skipped the tortillas and rice. And since no one wanted to share it, I had 2/3rds left to take home. If I wasn’t watching carbs I’d probably reheat it with some chips and make fantastic nachos!

Had terrible service and forced gratuity on 4 meals. Likely due to being charged a forced gratuity we had the worst service I’ve ever had here; used to love coming here. Drinks never refilled and some never brought out. Some dishes never delivered and had to be removed. Sat around for about 20-30 minutes waiting for the check to be delivered after we finished eating, and then was told we couldn’t have the gratuity removed after requesting it.
